Obama's Terrorist Spring: Jihadist Threat Doubles On His Watch

National Security: A new study says that since 2010 the number of terrorists threatening the U.S. has doubled as terrorist groups have increased by more than half. The president has been whistling past our graveyard.

The predicate for President Obama's trade of what some have called the Taliban's board of directors for a soldier whose platoon and squad leaders have called a deserter who abandoned his post is a reprise of the Obama 2012 campaign meme — the war on terror is over and terrorists, particularly al-Qaida, are on the run.

It is the lie that spawned the Benghazi cover-up and the administration's rationale for the Bergdahl swap.

And it's a lie that has been exposed by the Rand Corp. study, which found that since 2010, there has been a 58% increase in the number of jihadist groups making war on America and the West, and a doubling of the terrorists who belong to them (see chart).

Specifically, Rand found that the number of al-Qaida-sympathizing jihadist groups jumped to 49 from 31 in the 2010-13 period.

It also estimated the number of fighters grew to between 45,510 and 105,510 in 2013, from between 12,945 and 47,810 in 2010.

And I didn’t think he could top himself as far as his criminally negligent attitude towards protecting the states from invasion by failing to enforce federal immigration laws.
And suing states to prevent them from protecting themselves.

That is his job, you know, the focus—or it should be, along with his attorney general, Eric Holder, arms supplier for narco-terrorist cartels.

We states acted as principals and designated an agent—a federal government—in salient part to coordinate our national defense.
But now the `worm has turned’ and the agent thinks itself to be principal, and believes itself to be giving directions and instructions and `calling the shots.’

But Barry really, he just really outdoes himself with ballet-dancer Bergdahl in `ringing the dinner bell’ for terrorists by handing over five (5) enemy field marshals in exchange for one turncoat.
And he did it even though a coequal branch of government said, “No. We do not agree to doing what you propose.”

Oh, and let’s not forget the White House naming, yeah, actually naming a CIA field office director ... it’s hard to believe, but as a real president once said, `Facts are stubborn things’.
Now it’s open season on all Americans, not just at home but abroad.

Job well done, Mr. President, but only if you are al-Qaeda.
