Elephant Butte is not too low to keep people from catching fish. In the past few weeks, an 8 and more than 9 pound largemouth have been caught. This lake is so big even at the lowest stage it is huge. Come on down and let’s do a show. I can get lodging and food comped. And more. Don’t believe all you read about this lake, it is not all doom and gloom.
