Bondi: Gay Marriage Would Cause Harm [Florida AG Defends Florida Constitution]

The attorney general of Florida says in court documents that recognizing same sex marriages performed in other states would disrupt existing marriage laws and "impose significant public harm."

Eight gay couples and the American Civil Liberties Union sued the state in federal court in March. The lawsuit argues Florida is discriminating against the couples by not recognizing same-sex marriages performed in states where they are legal.

Attorney General Pam Bondi, a Republican who was named in the lawsuit along with fellow GOP Gov. Unlike some Democrat and, sadly, Republican officials, Bondi is DEFENDING THE STATE CONSTITUTION.

NBC Miami is an official sponsor, by the way, of the annual homosexual parade in Miami Beach. Their "journalists" even marched in the last gala.

Those homosexual couples married elsewhere but claiming marital rights in Florida may stay out of Florida if this in some way conflicts with their personal beliefs. In Florida, they shall not be prosecuted for their personal interactions, but “marital rights” are meaningless.

Otherwise, “When in Rome, do as the Romans.”

This is in no way different than individuals that flee the jurisdiction of New York City because of taxation considerations. Income earned ANYTIME while within the city’s jurisdiction is subject to the local taxes, which makes for a very complex situation. That was exactly the reason Rush Limbaugh shifted from his EIB base in New York to the “Southern Command” EIB in Florida. Rush may, however, visit the city if there are no financial considerations or compensation paid during that visit.

The homos are trying this in Idaho, too, but I think Gov. Otter is going to fight it. I hope so, because he's been a disappointment on a lot of other things lately.

America is rapidly being transformed into a carbon copy of Sodom/Gomorrah and no one seems to give a rat’s *ss.
