As Twitchy has reported, President Obama ordered the release of five Gitmo detainees to secure the return of Sgt. Bowe Bergdahl from his Taliban captors in Afghanistan.

Recently, a tweet was published from the account of Bowe Bergdahl’s father, Robert, which stated a desire to see all Gitmo detainees released.

Here’s the tweet from Bob Bergdahl’s account, which was published May 28 and deleted Saturday night (at the time of publication the deletion of the tweet has not been acknowledged on the account):

@ABalkhi I am still working to free all Guantanamo prisoners. God will repay for the death of every Afghan child, ameen!— Robert Bergdahl (@bobbergdahl) May 28, 2014

I found this link in the comments section of Twitchy. Please tell me that we didn’t free 5 very dangerous prisoners to free a supposed POW that may have really been a traitor!

Here is the link:

The American people as supported by the lying media have been ignoring soooo many examples of zero’s thuggish and treasonous actions… all in the interest of partisan politics and not wanting to admit that they have just plain been duped. If this doesn’t spark an across the board outrage, then the country is lost and it has to be acknowledged that the Manchurian Candidate succeeded.

Yup!The rules do not apply to Obama. We are living under a tyrannical regime.

It’s a damned shame that we don’t have anybody within our government willing to do anything about it.

Well, I’m sure he must have mis-tweeted and meant that he was working to get all Americans freed from the tali-wackers. Yeah, that’s it.

The Telegraph has another story, "Bowe Bergdahl: a darker story behind the release of America's last prisoner of war," with these excerpts about Bergdahl:
"These people need help, yet what they get is the most conceited country in the world telling them that they are nothing and that they are stupid," he wrote in an email to his parents on June 27, 2009.

Three days later, according to Rolling Stone, the 23-year-old soldier simply walked off his base in Patika province, carrying a knife, his diary and a small camera.

He was captured almost immediately and - despite a frantic search by US troops, drones and helicopters - smuggled into Pakistan by Taliban fighters.

The Taliban's demands were high: they would exchange one low-ranking US soldier for five senior Afghan fighters being held at Guantánamo Bay.

This week, Mr Obama agreed. The Guantánamo detainees were released into the custody of Qatar while Sgt Bergdahl was handed over to American special forces near the Pakistani border.

The young soldier, who was healthy enough to walk to the helicopter that carried him to safety, is now being treated at a hospital in Germany.

Remember Clinton’s final executive orders on his last day in office?

Just wait. All those Gitmo prisoners are getting released.

"It’s a damned shame that we don’t have anybody within our government willing to do anything about it."

The Bergdahl story has more holes than a slice of swiss cheese:

1. The 30-day congressional notification law was ignored.

2. The ignoring of the law was supposedly done for "health and safety" reasons, but news accounts described Bergdahl as "healthy and able to walk."

3. Bergdahl is described as a POW, but there is strong evidence that he was a deserter.

4. Bergdahl emailed his parents that he was "ashamed to be an American."

5. In a Taliban propaganda film, Bergdahl lied about American rules of engagement and lied about his manner of capture.

6. Bergdahl has apparently converted to Islam and now holds views which may be pro-terrorist.

7. In a 2012 video, the Taliban claimed that Bergdahl was a convert to Islam and a willing participant in Taliban activities. Since the first part of this statement is apparently true, so may be the second part. In other words, Bergdahl might be guilty of treason.

8. According to at least one member of Bergdahl's unit, five American soldiers died in the search for Bergdahl.

But don't hold your breath for the MSM to delve into any of this. Obama has spoken.

What do you need, it to hit you up beside your head? Of course its true!

This turncoat was no more prisoner of Taliban than my freeroam dogs are my prisoners. They hang around because they like it here, so did the traitor.

This was all some smoke and mirrors to get the Taliban back to work.

Within a short time, the news will be that he’s gone back to his friends, maybe the muslim sympathizer dad too.

Obama has given the terrorists a useful bit of intelligence. The US will indeed negotiate with terrorists, and the going rate is 5 Gitmo detainees per US hostage. There will be 150 detainees left in Gitmo after this exchange. They are now incentivised to take at least 30 new hostages.
