A Republican challenging Rep. Ann Kirkpatrick (D-Ariz.) apologized Monday for saying a vast majority of the perpetrators of mass shootings are Democrats.
At a candidate forum on Saturday, rancher Gary Kiehne said, "If you look at all the fiascos that have occurred, 99 percent of them have been by Democrats pulling their guns out and shooting people," The Arizona Daily Star reported.
"So I don't think you have a problem with the Republicans," Kiehne added, according to the paper.

In truth, mass shootings are committed by “lunatics”. Politics is rarely, if ever, the driving force.
It’s just a coincidence that most lunatics are democrats.
Tell that to Presidents Lincoln, T. Roosevelt, McKinley, F. Roosevelt, Kennedy, Ford and Rev. King and Senator Kennedy. Those weren’t “mass” shootings, but they sure were political.

On August 15, 2012, Floyd Lee Corkins, a former volunteer with gay advocacy group “The DC Center for the LGBT Community,” tried to kill a security guard at the Washington headquarters of a Christian conservative organization the Family Research Council.
On 9/16/2013, another mentally ill liberal, Aaron Alexis, killed 12 innocents at the Navy Yard in Washington DC.
12/14/2013 Karl Pierson entered Arapahoe High School in Centennial, Co. armed with a shotgun with intent to kill one of his teachers. He shot Claire Davis, a senior, @Arapahoe High in the head. Yes, Pierson is/was another mentally ill liberal punk. He killed himself when an armed school officer ran towards him.
