Police Arming for War against Veterans (2 VIDEOS)
Eagle Rising ^ | May 19 2014 | Onan Coca

Not only has the Obama administration waged war on our veterans through the VA Scandal, now there is whole new front of attack on our veterans we have to worry about.

In a terrifying news report on the militarization of our police forces – watch as a veteran officer of the Indiana police remarks that police are having to prepare for returning veterans with the ability to make IED’s (Improvised Explosive Devices).

That’s right. One of the reasons our police forces are giving for having to become more like military forces is the soldiers returning home from the front.

It’s scary watching our police forces become militarized… but it’s even scarier to hear some of their reasons for doing so. Crime, including violent crime, has been dropping across the country over the last 30 years, yet somehow this police officer believes that crime has gotten worse since he’s become a cop?

It’s reasoning just like his that is militarizing our police… and it’s a dangerous precedent to set.

So while local police forces all over the country are militarizing - the President of the United States is simultaneously pushing hard to take guns out of the hands of law abiding citizens… because “weapons of war don’t belong on our streets.”

In fact, while the President and the Pentagon pour these powerful military weapons onto our streets, they are demanding that we turn in weapons that are much weaker by contrast. Interestingly, the President seems to believe that our semi-automatic rifles have no place on the street, but he has no problem when local police forces get much stronger and deadlier weapons to use against us.

We shouldn’t stop there. We should restore the ban on military-style assault weapons and a 10-round limit for magazines. And that deserves a vote in Congress — because weapons of war have no place on our streets, or in our schools, or threatening our law enforcement officers. Our law enforcement officers should never be out-gunned on the streets.

Our founders endlessly debated the idea of a standing military force. In the end it was deemed necessary. Can you imagine how irate they would be to learn that today’s America has MULTIPLE standing militaries? The military, our police, and dozens of federal agencies are all now well equipped to control us… if need be.

I don’t want to sound like someone with a brain-load of conspiracy theories… BUT… if we’ve learned anything over the last few years it’s that we can’t trust our government.

So does it sound wise to give up our means of protecting ourselves (the 2nd Amendment) while at the same time watching our government arm all of its different agencies to the teeth?

I don’t think so.

There is no reason for someone to want to take away your means of resisting violent coercion

other than they intend to violently coerce you.

WHO is being protected?

Not the white Americans chased, beaten and raped
by black thugs, directed and run from the DO”J”.

Not the Americans murdered and raped by criminal illegals
released by the DH”S”.

Not the Americans now denied healthcare and law
by the self-serving, and EXEMPT, Congress.

NOT the Americans who are being disarmed as the
terrorists are let in by the busload, and given
weapons by Holder and Obama.

We aren’t going to be able to stop the proliferation of the military weapons to local police forces.

It’s important, however, to change those things we can, and in this case one thing to change is our perception of those weapons.

We need to begin thinking of them as resources for our side, resources being maintained and fueled for us to use when they are needed.

Since so many VA deaths have occurred over such a long period of time due to ARIZONA VA Hospital waiting list procedures, would it be proper and honorable that former Vet, and current US Senator from ARIZONA John McCain immediately resign from the US Senate?

Not sure if this is correct (great grandad war stories) but he said that Eleanor Roosevelt wanted to intern returning soldiers in camps because of the violence they did and saw would make them unsafe to return to society.

Know this. This has been going on for a while and is more than just the ODimwit Admin. The danger we run is thinking that other Admins, ANY other Admins, would be better. They won’t. They too will do this to us.

Also, thinking that someone we with our guns can have ANY effect on tanks and drones is almost laughable. No offense meant, but that is a fact. They will let you keep your guns because they know that you.we can not stop them. Period. I’s been many a year since I was a Prosecutor, but even the less armed police/National Guard then would have zero problem stopping any size uprising.

It is time for us to break the trap they keep us in i.e. us against them. We need to pay CLOSE attention to the candidates we support. Just because someone says want we like, doesn’t mean they are on our side.

While most here get it, there are so many that don’t realize what grave danger we are in ... and it transcends Odimwit.

Montgomery county Texas sheriffs dept. crashes DHS granted surveillance drone into Lake Conroe. Take a look at the military hardware in the picture. This is not local policing, it is paramilitary.

Every American should have alarm bells going off when they see this sort of stuff from local law enforcement. Scary!!

Militarized police is bad but militarized agencies like BLM and Food and Drug is building an unconstitutional standing army that can claim it isn’t under DOD so it’s not really an army

I was 12 years old when the guys started coming home after WWII. My NYC neighborhood was full of guys with parts missing or scarred. (I remember when a car backfired and three guys dropped to the ground. We kids laughed - and that guilty memory has haunted me ever since.)

It wasn’t the militarization of the police then, but the liberals’ angst over these vets. There was article after article about how the crime rate would skyrocket when they vets returned as “They were used to all that killing and bloodshed”.

To no one’s surprise but them, all these guys wanted to do is pick up their lives and make up for the years they lost. They were sick of the gore and violence.

Rather than apologize for smearing these guys when it turned out nothing happened, they began to mock Eisenhower and the early post-war years as “boring times” (snicker).

By age 16 I was politicized beyond my years over their hypocrisy.

This country is getting dangerously close to declaring martial law.

Without relying on the official and Constitutionally defined military services.

This is part of the National Civilian Defense Force, promised by the Current Occupant way back in 2008, that would be as well funded as the US Military.

Target the REAL veterans, those with military combat experience, and “neutralize” them. Show your distain by making the VA treatment centers a distant and unattainable place for those wounded in the service of the country, by doing a purge on the commanding officers who would not fire upon fellow American citizens, from the top on down, by including the persons of questionable sexual orientation in the general service population, by placing females in combat roles and situations where they are clearly less qualified than the best of the male soldiers, and generally provide little logistical support for the troops in places of peril.

All part of a much wider agenda.

I don't know if that's true, but it actually wouldn't have been a bad idea.
When I left VN in '68, I stayed on Okinawa for 5 days to (supposedly) "get your uniforms squared away."
In fact, it was to allow a short time of decompression from combat.
Would be interesting to see a study of the frequency of crimes committed by returning vets over the last 100 years.

I have long studied asymmetric warfare as it applies to insurgencies and revolutions. Your fear of what is coming is justified, but your pessimism of outcomes is not. A protracted, armed insurgency by an industrious, resourceful populace has a better than good chance of throwing off tyranny.
Remember, there are many of us in their ranks. Many. Our puny rifles cannot stop a tank, but an EFP can. We are Americans who have crazy skills. Hell, the average Cletus can build an EFP with what he has in his workshop.

“..(great grand dad war stories) but he said that Eleanor Roosevelt wanted to intern returning soldiers in camps because of the violence they did and saw would make them unsafe to return to society.”

Sounds just like Eleanor Roosevelt. She could give Hillary & Michele lessons in how to be a power b!tch. All three had flaky notions about American democracy & liberty.

FWIW, my grand dad, a WW1 vet & coal miner, hated the Roosevelts & in 1941 forbade my Mom from visiting Hawaii with friends. He warned, “that rubberlegs SOB will get us in a war with the lousy Japs before the year’s out!”

Also, you don't attack the "tanks". You attack logistics and personnel that support and operate them. Those MRAPs the police are getting will be driven by guys that live in our communities. They shop where we shop, drop their kids off at the schools our kids go to, etc. If going out to get the morning paper off the front lawn becomes a dangerous prospect, there will be fewer people lining up to apply for the jack-booted-thug positions that are available; either through attrition or self preservation.

Like brain-dead employees of the IRS and EPA the police have been told lies about vets, conservatives and Republicans. The hater totalitarians on the left want to kill American citizens...
