Sandra Fluke and Marianne Williamson: Either win would be a loss for California
Communities Digital News ^ | May 18, 2014 | By Jennifer Oliver O'Connell

In California the candidacies easily getting the most press are those of Sandra Fluke and Marianne Williamson, running for Senate in District 26, and Congress in District 33, respectively. California’s primary elections will be held on June 3.

... Here is what is frightening about a Sandra Fluke candidacy: she is a partisan hack who cares more about being in the limelight than she actually cares about the causes for which she supposedly champions. There is nothing serious about her save that she wishes to remain a mouth piece for the Democrat party. We have a president who burst upon the scene with little business, legislative, or practical experience, and our country—and the world—is suffering because of it. Ms. Fluke should not be allowed anywhere near public office; whether she does or not will be something for the voters of District 26 to decide.

Despite some sound representatives from the Golden State, we have far too many who have little leadership or executive experience, and are simply lining their coffers and running personal agendas. Rep. Maxine Waters is but one example. A foundation of people management and personal integrity no longer seems to matter; if the candidate has a following that will launch him or her into office, that candidate enters the system, and continues to game it in their favor.

Both Sandra Fluke and Marianne Williamson are lacking in seriousness, legislative experience, and any proven track record of public service. The sad thing is, we have been electing these types of candidates for years, and the people of California continue to pay the consequences.

Sandra Fluke owes her fame to Rush Limbaugh.

If not for Rush talking about her, her allegedly courageous testimony about birth control issues would not have made big news.

Actually, the MSM lambasting Rush for talking about her, is what created the media firestorm which gave her fame.

In California, there is no possibility for a conservative voice to be heard or a conservative candidate to win.

With that in mind, my only alternative is to vote in such a way as to make the liberal Democrat system implode on itself as soon as possible.

With the new open primary system in place, I can do just that. Vote for the worst Democrat on the ballot. Sandra Fluke, Cindy Sheehan, Gavin Newsom all will get my vote.

Oh, I’m planning to move out of Calif. soon.

Barbara Boxer Redux. The star-struck idiots of CA will elect this know-nothing and re-elect her for the next 35 years. Her future is secure.

At least Williamson can put a sentence together. She did the Touched by an Angel series which was pretty conservative. I know nothing else about her politics and maybe she is a liberal lunatic. Not sure. Anything but Fluke though.

Williamson is a New Age-y moonbat. Her support comes from some of the same Hollyweird kooks.

I don't know if this is connected, but the other day in Berkeley I saw some flyers distributed (i.e. stapled to trees and telephone poles) advertising "Summer Jobs" "in defense of reproductive rights" including birth control, "access" (and possibly abortion). Funny thing, but most of the flyers (the sort with the tear-sheet strips of telephone numbers to call at their bottom edge) each had the leftmost tear-sheet strip removed, as if to indicate there was some interest in this campaign, but to my eyes it appeared that the person posting the flyers had done the removal as a sort of finishing touch.

Anyhow, I wondered (thinking back on this) if these had anything to do with the Fluke campaign.

You know, that is the perfect example of how libs just absolutely blatantly lie and they don’t give a damn who knows it. “Champion of womens issues”?? Give me one example please. She’s a champion for prostitutes, but “womens issues”?? She fought Rush and won? Give me one example please. He is still on the air and a woman who needs $3000 in birth control is still a slut. And “She stood up to Rush..”?? Oh really, that’s news to me, when did they meet? Again, give me one example.

“I know nothing else about her politics...”

She was endorsed by Alan Grayson (D-FL). Does that help? You’re welcome!

Yep, that’s Caleeefonia for you. If a psycho like Pelosi can keep winning, this slut sure as hell can. That whole ad of hers is just one lie after another. I mean why doesn’t she say she was the first woman to land on Mars as well, everything else in it is complete nonsense so she might as well go full out. Say she cured cancer and can fly like Superman as well and melt steel with her x-ray vision..
