As head of my Public Library's SWAT, I take exception to your complaints about the USDA being armed with the latest high tech repeating weaponry.

Why just the other day, I was forced to shoot a pack of feral cats in the home of a 94-year old woman who was holding DVDs beyond our sensible 7-day limit. I emptied my .50 Desert Eagle Magnum pistol, but more and more cats kept coming. Stun grenades proved useless.

Believe me, an H&K 9MM with a 30-round stacker would have been most welcome. Believe me too, we wished the woman no harm, but reliable sources had informed us that she had a rolling pin and several wooden spoons (not allowed) and we were forced to fire at her home (which was a mess, BTW) with the 25MM chain gun mounted on our HumVee. A stray tracer hit the propane tank and this book-and-tape hoarder paid the ultimate price for her senseless crimes. Sorry.

Our SWAT colleagues at USDA must never, I say NEVER, be placed in such jeopardy. What if some crazed dairy farmer refuses to modernize his milking equipment? Or, God forbid, refuses to allow the USDA scientists to analyze his manure disposal unit (MDU)?

We at the Library and the USDA know what is best for all. You crazed right wing fanatics seem to prefer chaos to law and order! Anyway, it's no big deal. The Border Patrol can give us theirs.
