EMAILS: DEM SEN LEVIN PRESSURED IRS TO TARGET CONSERVATIVE GROUPS
Breitbart ^ | May 14, 2014

Posted on 05/14/2014 9:36:13 PM PDT by Jim Robinson

Contrary to the White Houses explanation that a few rogue agents in Cincinnati lead the targeting of Tea Party groups by the IRS, newly released emails obtained by Judicial Watch detail Democratic Sen. Carl Levin (D-MI) pressuring the IRS to target conservative groups. On March 30, 2012 Levin wrote to then IRS commissioner Douglas Shulman about his concern with the political activity by conservative nonprofits.

“Some entities claiming tax-exempt status as social welfare organizations under 26 U.S.C.&501(c)(4) appear to be engaged in political activities more appropriate for political organizations claiming tax-exempt status under 26 U.S.C.&527. Because of the urgency of the issues involved in this matter, please provide the following information by April 20, 2012.”

Sure, throw Levin under the bus. He’s retiring anyway. Seems way too convenient.

- “I am not aware....”

- “We have been improving….”

- “My mission has been to…..”

- (D-A) Senator Mark Begich “Has anyone been fired?” “I am not aware…..”

- Shinseki has a stooge doctor sitting next to him cutting in and answering for Shiseki with loads of bull crap -

- Shinseki sounds like he is under medication and well-preparedby his staff: “There is a difference between ‘improper behavior’ and a ‘mistake’….”

“It’s obscene that their staffs are so large.”

They need big staffs not to serve the people, but to connive and scheme to stay in office. The politicians cover for each other regardless of Party to keep political elites immune. That is why their mantra is “never worry about examining the past, and instead they concern themselves only with looking at the future.” The past means accountability. They do not want accountability, except for the sheep.

The question is: Who pressured Levin?

This is criminal conduct - using the IRS to abuse US citizens. He and his staff should be charged with multiple crimes.

It doesn’t matter if this is criminal or not.

What will anyone do about this?

NOT A DAMNED THING!

It doses not matter what the Ruling Class does any more. We went Soviet and we still deceive ourselves that this is a country with liberty and the rule of law.

The rule of law is dead in America.

We could melt the phone lines to congress tomorrow and nothing will be done about this except some show piece soundbites to placate we serfs while the MSM blames Conservatives for the whole thing.

All that matters is MarxoFascism and one’s loyalty to the state and the messiah.

You will be punished if you dare question them or support their opponents.

Yep. Just can’t work up a good sense of indignation over business as usual for the uniparty.

That's to be expected from royalty.

It’s obscene that their staffs are so large.

But not as many as Moochelle takes on her lavish vacations.

Shocking. I want him seized - jailed and indicted for hatch act violations. I want him tried and convicted and sentenced and die in prison. He is a sorry excuse for a human.

You are assuming that Rep. Gary Peters is going to defeat former Michigan Secretary of State Terri Lynn Land to win Levin’s seat. Land won statewide election 2 times as Sec of State until term limited. Land took over as Sec of State in Michigan from current US Rep Candice Miller. The Republicans have had the Sec of State office for the past 20 years.

Levin is a hired hand. Somebody told that pawn what to do. That’s the person we need to find. The evidence is out there. Levin was being directed and was picked because he’s on his way out. He’s their patsy. Who’s the kingpin?

I had no idea how many people were on the staffs of Senators. I’d like to see numbers on Senatorial staffs historically since 1960.
