Cook County Circuit Court Clerk Dorothy Brown's husband has been hit with a federal subpoena asking him to appear before a grand jury as part of an investigation into a state anti-violence program.
It is the second, ongoing probe into Cook that is also looking into how monies were dispensed from the $54 million anti-violence program.
Cook was paid more than $154,000.00 in salary and benefits from the grant funds.
Cook is a convicted felon who claims to be a psychologist, but he holds no license.
In 2010, Governor Pat Quinn (D) narrowly survived a challenge from Republican State Senator Bill Brady (Quinn lost 98 of 102 counties, but made up these losses in metro areas). The anti-violence program has been faulted as a disguised "get out the vote" program for Quinn paid for by taxpayers.
I personally cannot wait to see Quinn do the perp-walk. I just hope it's done before the corrupt son of a bitch and the corrupt Illinois State Legislature make the "temporary" tax hike they passed 4 years ago permanent.
I click your link but get a ‘page not found’ response. Got a better link?

Thanks. A little different URL than what was used in the thread link.
Thanks for the correct link.
Please don’t call him a SOB. You’re insulting female dogs, the vast majority of whom are better people than he. Just call him a subhuman POS.
> Cook County Circuit Court Clerk Dorothy Brown... $54 million anti-violence program... Cook was paid more than $154,000.00 in salary and benefits from the grant funds.
And that’s what kept her from getting violent. Thanks PBRCat.
