SEVASTOPOL, Crimea (AP) — President Vladimir Putin has hailed Crimea's incorporation into Russia. Putin made a speech Friday in the city of Sevastopol on his first trip to the Black Sea peninsula since Russia annexed it from Ukraine in March. Putin watched a parade of Russian navy ships and a flyby of Russian aircraft marking the Victory Day commemorating the defeat of Nazi Germany in World War II. Ukraine has condemned Putin's visit as trampling on international law.

I’m all for bringing back the Russia monarchy. Communism was a terrible diversion from what appeared to be real progress and reform in Russia before the Bolsheviks came to power.

Victory Day commemorating the defeat of Nazi Germany in World War II.

Looks like he's gonna defeat the Nazi's in Ukraine also.

Ukraine has condemned Putin's visit as trampling on international law.

As opposed to taking power by overthrowing a legally elected government like Ukraine did?

I wonder what George Washington and Thomas Jefferson would say about NATO membership and where that will lead us.

Entangling Alliances

"It is our true policy to steer clear of permanent alliance with any portion of the foreign world": it was George Washington's Farewell Address to us. The inaugural pledge of Thomas Jefferson was no less clear: "Peace, commerce, and honest friendship with all nations-entangling alliances with none."

The NATO construct is outdated and needs to be reconstituted without the United States as part of it. Europe needs to resource and fund its own defense force, and the United States needs to be able to operate it’s military without the constraint and/or obligation NATO imposes.

Russia and the western media have tried to make everybody forget the Holodomor. Have you?

Ukrainians haven't.

I bet the Crimean people love Putin as much as the Russian people do. I know for a fact that Americans hate Obama and the European people hate the sodomites in Brussels.

The Holomodor was perpetrated by Communists. The Humanity hating Communists don’t reside in Moscow anymore. Their posterity infest Washington D.C., the District of Criminals, a.k.a. Mordor on the Potomac, and in the command base of the EUSSR, that den of sodomites called Brussels.

There was no overthrow.

Yanukovich's Berkut killed about 100 protesters.

Yanukovich then signed off on early elections and left the country.

I lay the blame for Holodomor mostly on Stalin and the Bolsheviks. I don’t think presently Russia has any intention of repeating the policies of the 1930’s that led to mass starvation.
