That is the kind of information fans are never privy to unless the situation gets out of hand. He could be terrible but such information has not reached the general sports fan public.

The university actually received a big federal grant to make sure Michelle’s brother got a million dollars plus salary.
But my research showed he was hired in April 2008, 4 months before Baraq got the Dem nomination.

There’s a YouTube video claiming that a “Michael Robinson” played football at Oregon State in 1981. Reportedly, he complained constantly about being a woman trapped in a man’s body. Then he suddenly disappeared. A little later, a “Michelle Robinson” appeared.
The guy certainly was no John Wooden, but his first two years as hc had more wins than any other two year stretch for that program since 1989.
His salary while seeming excessive to normal people like us, was 8th lowest of the 12 in the conference and essentially the same as 9, 10 and 11.
In the bizarro economics of big time collegiate athletics, I don’t see him as an outlier at all.
Yes, the daughter got a nice scholarship to Princeton. Michelle and her brother did also. They all got fabulous all-expenses-paid trips to Africa, Spain and who knows where else. The brother kept his job for years because of grants to the university.
Tax dollars at work. Keeping Michelle proud to be an American.
And it likely won’t reach the average sports fan ever, especially with the media, in general, in the tank for Obama, not to mention pretty much anyone on the left. It’s all good press.
However, there is still truth that wins out in the end. We may have to wait forever to get it, but I still believe truth triumphs.

If that is the case, he must have been a horrible recruiter. To win with someone else’s team, and lose with yours is bad.

I asked a friend who is into OSU sports if she had any inside info as to what was going on. Here’s what she told me:
A couple of thing—the fans and donors have been wanting Robinson’s head for 2-3 years. Attendance has declined to just over 3000 per game in a facility that holds close to 11,000 and ticket sales and donations continue to decline. I feel certain DeCarolis (Athletics Director) has met with lots if anger from the big donors and angry fans. Over the last 3 years several players have left the program and transferred to another school. At the end of this past season (in March) we lost five senior starters and last week two more players left after DeCarolis had earlier announced Robinson was staying. Always when a player leaves the paper says they were homesick, their grandmother is sick and they want to be closer. All kinds of bs excuses. The fact is most don’t like him nor like playing for him. He is not a nice man. Also recently junior Eric Moreland left to try for the NBA draft, rather than coming back for his senior year. DeCarolis said the decision was just his and no one else’s but I don’t believe it. I’ve been calling DeCarolis for 3 years. He had way too much pressure from people and could see the writing on the wall as to how bad list revenue would be.
DeCarolis said he called Robinson Thursday night. It became public very early Monday morning, and by afternoon Oregon state had $3 million in federal pell grants taken. Obama didn’t waste any time getting revenge.
