independence from any political party.

Well, I don't know about independence, the attempt to be balanced gives you the likes of FOX, with the presence of obvious seething liberals and "independent overkill" obvious in the persona of the know-nothing, bloviating Ted Baxter.

a DEMAND for basic objectivity

Conservatives need to become proactive in getting the message out there, both in telling the truth, and calling out the RATagandists on their history of helping the "progressives" destroy the US.

The information is out there and available from the Washington Times, The Blaze, FOX NEWS, The Drudge Report and through foreign news sources who have no affinity for Kenyan packer.

The "balance" needs to present itself as a free speech opposition entity, countering the lying MSM with verifiable facts and exposing them on their unreported stories.

When people are sick to death of these long "slow news weeks" full of decoy stories (like the missing airliner and the racist basketball baron) they will tune in to the sources that are reporting something other than the same-ole same-ole.

Although the Republicans are accused of not fighting back, they have no viable method of getting the truth out there other than modern social media, and we need to be screaming at them that they need to be all over that...twitter, facebook etc.

Wow, do I agree with you!!!!

I’m as upset over the media/press failure to do their jobs as I am with everything the Democrats have done.

You ask a good question MID.

We all know, I mean we ALL know this whole thing has been a bunch of lies so let me expand, or add to if you will, your question.

At what point does the “jury”, which would be us Americans who have children who lie to us, who sit on legal juries and listen to lying defendants, who sometimes lie our own selves for various reasons....at what point do we say, WE DECLARE THEM GUILTY OF LYING?

It’s been two years so far and this one and that one, a “dude” guy and a “what difference does it make” witch and on and on and on and on.....let’s stop it already.

No one in the administration is going to “confess”. It’s like we don’t have a point....lying American Liar....where we can call in and cast our vote.

The administration will keep digging to find somebody who will continue their lies, witness the disastrous DUDE guy. THAT guy did more to damage Benghazi and the lies than anyone else....I loved it, folks. It was just SO bad.

But they’re desperate!

Still and so there’s just no way to stop the talk, to agree that they lie and to move on to the next step. The news media benefits from the endless discussions, the political pundits love to expound and will expound on forever.

I’m sick of hearing it. It’s time to first, IMPEACH HILLARY!

We’ll be watching...

As you so accurately reported (at 8:18 CDT) that day (click link):

Rice: There is no indication that the attack in Benghazi was imminent or had any connection with the events developing in Egypt at the time.

I no longer watch any of the sunday News Shows....cable or otherwise. First....they are boring, out of touch with political reality in most cases. The viewership across the board with the exception of Fox News Channel is dropping like an anchor thrown overboard. And even FNC....with Chris Wallace has no real MoJo!!! Wallace is too mainstream....and never goes “cutting edge”!!!

My coming Jolly Gig is if Congressman, Trey Gowdy gets named the chief prosecutor of the Select Benghazi Committtee. Now....that would be worth watching!!! Screw the Sunday TV News Shows!!! They are just as boring and ill watched as the Obama and the WHCD was last night....a total failure across the board for all concerned. Would love to see the TV viewership numbers of the combined CNN, MSNBC & CSpan. Betcha....they are nothing to brag about!!! Obama has had his fifteen minutes of fame!!!

I’m as upset over the media/press failure to do their jobs as I am with everything the Democrats have done.

As I've said numerous times on this thread, week after week, the driveby media is, IMHO, the bigger enemy. democrats do what democrats do to get elected and have power. Unethical for sure, but it is as old as mankind. The press however, are willing agents supporting one goal: Leftist/Socialist/Communist ideology.

They don't care if their viewership is down (witness MSNBC and CNN) or if they're losing money (Wash Post, Newsweak); getting the message out is paramount.

And they also HATE our guts, and some would be happy to see all conservatives eradicated in concentration/death camps, or at least stifled and forced to shut up and take it by the rest.

I am humbled. I don’t remember that.

I do admit that I’ve been upset over everything to do with Benghazi from day one.

Well, I won’t argue that the Shows are propaganda pieces, but our job here on this thread is to expose the lies, omissions and falsehoods in order to fight back intelligently. Read the link to the 16 Septembr 2012 thread I posted above. It absolutely shows that we were seeing directly through their lies AS THEY TOLD THEM!

Wallace cautions Republicans against being too aggressive regarding Benghazi investigations,

The discussion got pretty hot with opposing views from Adam Schiff (RAT-CA) and Kelly Ayotte (RINO-NH) Schiff indicating that it's likely that the RATs will not appoint any members to the "select committee" and make it appear to be a partisan witch hunt, thus denying it news coverage. (See RATaganda and previous post)

Also there was a very spirited exchange between Britt and Jane Harmon (former RAT-CA) over who intitiated the fraudulent anti-islamic video talking points.

I both agree and disagree with you.

I truly believe the social media angle and have my own plan using social media, maybe more later on that.

But I sure don’t buy this angle that the Republicans have no choice. We all on this thread watch the Sunday talk shows. Note the name of the thread.

How many times have we lamented about constantly seeing John McCain? Mumbles McConnell couldn’t carry an interview if he tried. Boehner’s either suntanning or drinking.

I believe, even using the conventional media, the Repubs could do a way better job with their message than they do.

Maybe send Trey Gowdy to Meet the Depressed, just throwing it out there.

But that bit about social media....spot on. Even Rush Limbaugh mentions that more people get their information from social media and I....The Wise I....use social media VERY effectively.

And comments threads like this.....people read commenters almost as often as essayists.

It’s what I was born to do.

Funny that Donny Douche suggested just about the same thing on Morning Hoe last week - it must be the new talking point

Harmon showed the new WH talking point that it is not Area 51 or Vince Foster was not murdered. Wonder where the Vince Foster reference came from? Wonder who came up with that mocking, sounds like mocking from the past.

Just another conspiracy theory from a bunch of crackpots. No, the crackpots are the ones who blamed the video and put our people in extreme danger and got them killed. This really is negligent homicide.

I continue to believe our only option is repeating our side over and over, much like Hannity’s program. Eventually people will understand it and react to it.

And comments threads like this.....people read commenters almost as often as essayists.

Sometimes I think of it as if we were all meeting up for breakfast somewhere, or just friends having coffee Sunday morning at another friend's house; with the TV on the Sunday shows in the background, and we're all saying insightful, witty things about the shows and the bullshit that's being spewed.

Bottom line, it's like being with friends! We sometimes disagree, but don't get mad. We are a team!

5. They provide too much information.

[Ever notice how lengthy and rambling Obama’s responses to questions are?]
