About 10:00 p.m. [Tuesday]: Secretary of State Hillary Clinton issues a statement confirming that one State official was killed in an attack on the U.S. consulate in Benghazi. Her statement, which MSNBC posted at 10:32 p.m., made reference to the anti-Muslim video.

Clinton: Some have sought to justify this vicious behavior as a response to inflammatory material posted on the Internet. The United States deplores any intentional effort to denigrate the religious beliefs of others. Our commitment to religious tolerance goes back to the very beginning of our nation. But let me be clear: There is never any justification for violent acts of this kind.

Sometime between 10 pm EDT and the next day, the 'movie' excuse evolved.

Sept. 13 [Thursday]: CNN reports that unnamed “State Department officials” say the incident in Benghazi was a “clearly planned military-type attack” unrelated to the anti-Muslim movie.

CNN: “It was not an innocent mob,” one senior official said. “The video or 9/11 made a handy excuse and could be fortuitous from their perspective but this was a clearly planned military-type attack.”

The back-and-forth editing of the 'official' talkingpoints took place during the days leading up to Rice's appearances on the Sunday talks shows [September 16]. Obama was still using the movie excuse in his UN speech, September 25, 2012.

They knew it was a lie from the first mention of it.

I’ll nitpick you here just for the sake of discussion.

Leftist forces and institutions don’t die passively despite outward appearances.

Case in point: Soviet communism (the comintern movement, police state government, propaganda, disinformation, cults of personality, cults of paranoia, etc,)

They SEEM to die of natural causes but simply sit invisible like a virus dormant in your sock drawer until the chance comes to swirl out and up into the air again. (Hat tip: Camus.)

Thus—

You have to actively kill it by waking up everyday and killing it over again, like you did the day before.

I personally have three chronic medical conditions for which I have to take meds for everyday the rest of my life. Two of those conditions will never improve and can only be held at bay with drugs. Sucks.

Likewise, the forces of leftism don’t organically dissipate despite what you might think. You HAVE to sabotage the pillars that uphold the lying media or else you’ll be stuck with it. You have to make unconditional DEMANDS or else the lying media will continue its devilish bargains with big government and big corporata.

The fight hasn’t even begun. Not to the extent that it must. And it might never start at all. Bigger nations than the US have collapsed into hopeless leftist disrepair.

Killing the lying media will require a lot of sacrifice, creativity and FURY that hasn’t existed in our population in a long time.

First, thank you for the continued efforts of providing this thread every Sunday.

Second, why is any of this a surprise? We know 0bama lied over and over with 0bamacare (keep your doctor, keep your insurance, lowered costs of at least $2500, etc) just as he’s lied from Fast & Furious on. From little things, Cash for Clunkers, to major issues, TARP and a $ trillion stimulus package. Hell, the 0bama Brotherhood even lied about Hillary and Bill prior to the 2008 election!

I’m not talking spin, I mean outright lies. There is no reason to believe anything the media/press says today nor any of the excuses coming from anyone within the White House or State Department.

Today, ladies and gems, I made SHRIMP LO MEIN!

So I didn’t have carrots or snow peas but I had Bok Choy and fresh ginger. These are not things I normally buy. I had my daughter pick up the bok choy and ginger and she was fit to be tied.

Fresh ginger, as yon cooks might know, is odd looking. Bok Choy...well I told her it would be around the lettuce and she found it.

She said both of those items scared her.
