CNN’s Don Lemon tackled the Cliven Bundy/Donald Sterling racistapalooza on his weekly commentary segment of the Tom Joyner Show Tuesday morning, arguing that a racial solipsism had stricken contemporary racists, to the point that they could hold explicitly racist opinions and be completely unaware of them.
“I’ve said for years now that the new racism is the denial of racism,” Lemon said. “But in the past few weeks, after hearing from Bundy and Sterling, I have changed my mind. The new racism is being unaware that you are racist.”
“And that is the worst kind of anything; to be woefully ignorant,” he continued. “Because in the latest two cases ignorance truly is not bliss. It is downright dangerous.”

The irony is certainly lost on Mr. Lemon.
That would go along with the 85 IQ.
Is Mr. Lemon criticizing the guy who wants an all black NBA?
Because he certainly should be!
Clearly everyone should be sent to the reeducation camps in the countryside for healthy sessions of self-criticism.
I’m guessing he would want me executed then because I just don’t care about racism.

We’re definitely in Orwell 1984 territory with this type of claptrap passing for serious news commentary.
This stupid story became the #1 news item because:
the left desperately wants to “prove” that America is fundamentally racist even if it denies it.
Also, they are always looking for ways to gin up more White guilt.
Years ago, I read “Turner Diaries” out of curiosity.
There was some nasty racist/anti-semitic attitudes on the part of the main character,
but the description of the society that America had morphed into was strangely prescient to what we’re seeing today.
An accusation of “racism” was a weapon of absolute terror for anyone “not colored”. So much so that parents of a groping/rape victim were terrified to do anything about it, including removing their daughter from the school, for fear of the accusation of racism.
It is a tactic for control, folks. Don’t let it happen.

No, the worst sort of racism is calling someone else a racist for the sin of having a particular color skin.
Slavery bothers me so much because I am of Slavic descent and the word “Slav” means “Slave” so everythime slavery is brought up I think of how my ancestors were enslaved by oter people throughout history...
