onday night Secretary of State John Kerry issued an almost apology for warning that if Israel did not make peace it would become an apartheid state. In the statement he issued (below) he never says he is sorry, simply that he has always loved Israel, the criticism he received for his statement was political, and if he could say it again he would change the words he used. For more than thirty years in the United States Senate, I didnt just speak words in support of Israel, I walked the walk when it came time to vote and when it came time to fight. As Secretary of State, I have spent countless hours working with Prime Minister Netanyahu and Justice Minister Livni because I believe in the kind of future that Israel not only wants, but Israel deserves. I want to see a two state solution that results in a secure Jewish state and a prosperous Palestinian state, and Ive actually worked for it.
I will not allow my commitment to Israel to be questioned by anyone, particularly for partisan, political purposes, so I want to be crystal clear about what I believe and what I dont believe.
First, Israel is a vibrant democracy and I do not believe, nor have I ever stated, publicly or privately, that Israel is an apartheid state or that it intends to become one. Anyone who knows anything about me knows that without a shred of doubt.
Second, I have been around long enough to also know the power of words to create a misimpression, even when unintentional, and if I could rewind the tape, I would have chosen a different word to describe my firm belief that the only way in the long term to have a Jewish state and two nations and two peoples living side by side in peace and security is through a two state solution. In the long term, a unitary, binational state cannot be the democratic Jewish state that Israel deserves or the prosperous state with full rights that the Palestinian people deserve. Thats what I said, and its also what Prime Minister Netanyahu has said. While Justice Minister Livni, former Prime Ministers Barak and Ohlmert have all invoked the specter of apartheid to underscore
Kerry's statement about Israel developing into an apartheid state drew rebuke from Barbara Boxer and Republicans. Mid-East expert Aaron David Miller said that Mr. Kerrys comment had drawn him into an unproductive fight with a close ally.
Baker and Kissinger used tough language when they thought they would not only be able to make a point, but would be able to make a difference, Mr. Miller said of James A. Baker III and Henry A. Kissinger, both former secretaries of state. But Kerrys closed-door comment was ill timed, ill advised and unwise.
This is was not the first time during his tenure in the State Department that Kerry made undiplomatic comments about Israel. In February he roused anger with his comment that Israel without a peace treaty Israel was facing de-legitimization and international boycotts:
You see, for Israel theres an increasing de-legitimization campaign that has been building up. People are very sensitive to it. There is talk of boycotts and other kinds of things, Kerry said.
He added: Todays status quo absolutely, to a certainty, I promise you 100 percent, cannot be maintained. Its not sustainable. Its illusionary. Theres a momentary prosperity, theres a momentary peace.
More extraordinary incompetence from Kerry!

When it comes to finding wealthy wives, he’s as competent as they come. ;)
Just the idea that this “prestigious”, elite jerk was representing you and me at the time makes ya wanna puke.
I find him more reprehensible than Jane Fonda to be honest.
It is almost amazing that he did not try to blame it on the Jews.
He believes the same as hillary, obama and the imams: that Israel has no right to exist and that it must be eliminated.
Just more of the same from an incompetent in an incomprtent and purposefully destructive administration. Oh...john remains a traitor.
Kerry agrees with Helen Thomas. The Jews should go back to where they came from. Germany.
Kerry is just exposing the anti-Jew policies of president Obama that are enabling another Holocaust.
American Jews share on the blame; most of them voted for Obama and always vote for Democrats as zombies in spite that FDR closed the doors of United States to the Jews who tried to flee from Nazi occupied Europe during the Holocaust. Remember the SS Saint Louis!!!
That is the way the Devil pays those who serve him well.
WHY AMERICAN JEWS VOTE SO LIBERAL & WHY THEY SHOULDNT

By Dr. Norman Berdichevsky:
Jewish Liberalism is an inherited disease, it is not incurable
Time and time again, I read in websites and blogs around the internet the question and puzzling paradox posed by Gentiles who strongly support Israel, how can it be that so many Jews continue to blindly vote for ultra-liberal causes that are inherently ultra-critical of Israel and even subliminally of Jews.
The rest of the history...
