On the day that Rep. Cathy McMorris Rodgers (R-WA) told a local newspaper that she believed amnesty legislation could be brought to the floor by August, she met with Satya Nadella, the new CEO of Microsoft.

“I believe there is a path that we get a bill on the floor by August,” House GOP Conference Chair McMorris Rodgers said last Friday. “We’re going to have to push that this is a legal status, not amnesty."

That same day, she tweeted a photo of herself with Nadella from her verified @cathymcmorris Twitter account.

The new CEO of Microsoft is a Hindu Indian. He wants congress to INCREASE the available H1B visas to 500,000 every year. No doubt would bring ALL of India over here if he could. Might as well, since we are already becoming a caste system. It is insane what politicians are doing to our country.

This is the #4 ranking GOPer in the House. She has been nearly invisible while the kenyan burns the country. It appears she has finally found an issue (amnesty) near and dear to her heart. It’s very telling what the GOP feels is worth fighting for. Amnesty yes. IRS assaults No. Proceeding accordingly.

With unemployment at over 8% for 5 years (according to the BLS, probably closer to 15% in reality) these people are traitors to their country.

Over 6% that is.

But who believe that figure.

We need to raise H1B's to 500,000,000. There are simply not enough folks with the correct degree disciplines that are already US citizens. IT unemployment in the DFW area is around 1.2%, and there is a reason those in that % are there.

Say whatever you want, but there are not enough US kids getting the correct degrees for IT. I'm an IT manager at a top 10 IT company to work for, and we get very few candidates for the jobs we have available.

350 million people and you can't get enough good candidates? No sale.

If you are offering what these positions are worth, people will seek the credentials and apply. Its a marketplace axiom.

We need to raise H1B's to 500,000,000.

Total # of jobs in USA is ~155M.

and we get very few candidates for the jobs we have available for the salary we are offering.

Fixed it. It's economics 101.

I have had a SAN position open for almost a year. Problem with the off-shore people who are coming here to work is they have the book smarts but no common sense. They are afraid to make decisions.

This is about the 3rd amnesty legislation prediction McMorris-Rodgers, the Cantor clone, has made in the last year and half. The other one(s) for December and for March were smacked down.

If I didn’t have to rely on computers for my daily business I’d stick to an old ZX81 assembled from a mail order kit. Let all those tech companies burn.

Any idea whether your company is putting anything like the money and effort into encouraging U.S. colleges and tech schools to prepare U.S. citizens for these jobs that the company puts into lobbying Congress to import Indians and others to this country to take American jobs?

The mindset of most of these big companies seems to be what jobs they are not able to outsource to another country, they will fill the jobs by importing workers from foreign countries to the U.S. I am not sympathetic to such companies.
