Check for cattle mutilations. If present, the helicopters are black. Russians should just pack up and go home before it’s too late. :-)
“Anything that anyone, anywhere says that is counter to what MaidanPR puts out is Filthy Paid Russian Propoganda.”
Everything that RT puts out is absolute propaganda and is recognized as such. Why do you propagandize for Russian foreign policy that is illegally annexing sovereign land and sending in special forces and agents inside a sovereign nation?
I’m NOT taking Russia’s side, I’m posting the latest news.
I’m trying to understand, to the best of my limited abilities, what is REALLY going on, from the propaganda being thrown around by ALL sides.
That I don’t trust what is coming out of Washington says volumes in itself.
Please link to when I ever said RT was “objective”. Mow you are just making things up.
Of the 25 25 comments on this thread, only THREE, not by me, relate to the contents of the article.
Duh, you posted an article with RT as your source, then you take a quote from that source and assume it’s true (post #1).
That implies you trust RT as a news source.
In #17 and #19 you’re positively defending Russia’s behavior.
So don’t claim innocence now, that you “just want to find out what’s going on”. If you want to apologize for Russia, just admit it.
“Not really, but someone around him maybe”
Thats true and I was word fiddling trying to squeeze in “Like perhaps he left somebody in the Military that smart”. But I didn’t want to stretch the imagination that far or mainly because I didn’t want to disparage the military.
The thought that a private company could do this freaks me out a bit. Wow, corporate army. Not your ‘Soldier of Fortune’ subscriber types either. But you know, after so many years of war we’re bound to have produced some pretty cold and efficient paramilitary types. Caesars private army. I wonder who funds it. Gotta cost a fortune. What’s funny is they’re probably insured too. Those are the real players. I wonder what will be today’s symbol for the Rubicon. Rise the Illuminati! Rise the Barbarians!
Sorry, was practicing some creative writing.
“Of the 25 25 comments on this thread, only THREE, not by me, relate to the contents of the article.”
Incorrect statement.
Comments as to the credibility of the source are valid comments regarding the article.
Russia Today is a known propaganda arm of the Russian government.
You just skipped this part, then?
“If true, this opens up all kinds of problems. If it isn’t true, what is Russia going for?” in Post#1?
Using American weapons doesn’t mean anything.
I didn’t skip #17 and #19
US Weapons?
Probably the B.L.M. or ATF.
The Maidan government is not very popular overall though, but mainly because of the co-opting of the Ukrainian oligarchs and perceived weakness against Putin (and Yulia being the inevitable candidate...again). In other words, it's actually disliked more due to the return of the unpopular Yushchenko elites, not because of the 'neo-Nazi Banderist Svoboda takeover'. Most seem to have sided with the Maidan government for now though, due to the rally around the flag effect.
Svoboda seems to be viewed as a small, loud and troublesome faction massively played up by the Russians.
And yes, there is a significant minority (maybe 10-30%) of Russian-speakers in Eastern Ukraine that actually do want Russia to annex the East, but it's clearly a minority and even they are rather ambivalent with the Russian infiltrators and their paid crowds.
The only ones who are not viewing Putin as the aggressor over there are the Russian trolls who admit to coming from there to 'give their side of the story'.
LOL! Yeah, I was thinking when I read that, “Whoa - there aren’t a lot of places you can get U.S. made weapons. Other than Wal-Mart.”
I agree. Dont post from AMERICAN MEDIA propaganda sources. Their goal is to manipulate public opinion for the uninformed and spread lies.
“The only ones who are not viewing Putin as the aggressor over there are the Russian trolls”
IMHO, as I have said many times, Obama and the minions, in an attempt to make Russia “pay” for stopping the Syria attack, have unintentionally created conditions that Putin, Machiavellian that he is, couldn’t possibly pass up.
Events in Ukraine didn’t happen in a vacuum, and Russian Intelligence isn’t stupid. They saw what was coming and made contingencies for it.
You’re right , it didn’t happen in a vacuum. Yanukovych made a key election promise to associate Ukraine with the EU. As a Russian, he decided to play the moderate to get elected.
Once he did get elected, he waffled for a few years and then broke that promise in return for 15 billion from Putin. When he reneged, massive outrage ensued quickly leading to protests.
Did Obama force Yanukovych to ditch the EU Association deal?
A huge number of Russian-speaking Ukrainians then turned on him once they saw just how enormous the guy's house was.
Tell it like it is, tcrlaf. You’ll start posting from other news sources when they start following your beloved Putin.
