Western powers led by US President Barack Obama have warning that Russia faces fresh sanctions over Ukraine, as Kiev accused Moscow of seeking to trigger a “third world war”.
The threat came amid heightened tensions on the ground as the Ukrainian military launched a new offensive to besiege the rebel-held city of Slavyansk and insurgents blew up an army helicopter with a rocket-propelled grenade.
At the entrance to Slavyansk, seven members of an observer misson from the Vienna-based Organissation for Security and Cooperation in Europe were detained and taken to the rebel-held security services building, sparking immediate international condemnation.
Vyacheslav Ponomaryov, the de facto mayor of the city that the group had a “Ukrainian spy”, a man believed to be a military escort for the OCSE observers.

It may be the paranoid in me, but I’m concerned Obama is seeking to use this situation to complete the discrediting and destruction of the US military.
It couldn’t be any clearer that those who manipulated those protests in Kiev to turn violent are looking to destabilize Ukraine.

You want Americans to go to Ukraine and die? There are more murders over an average weekend. When do we send troops to Chicago?
Apparently the Current Occupant, suiting performance to his view of self-defense, has chosen, by his actions, the “duty to retreat” rather than “stand your ground”.
Of course, when you choose to retreat, the opponent may choose to pursue, which is OK if you have unlimited room to retreat, and have the stamina to make a run for it. But like kicking the can down the road, eventually there is nowhere left to take the next step.
And the pro war propagandists need to go back and tell their masters that Americans have no interest in fighting their war.

With Obama, no it doesn't. If there is a war with the US, it is because Obama finds it politically advantageous for domestic consumption.
IMHO:
* Russia will be the dominant power in the Middle East.
* Russia will soon confiscate the North Shore of the Black Sea so that its only warm water Naval Port can exert unimpeded power over the Middle East.
* Russia will eventually confiscate all of the Nation of Ukraine that it’s leaders consider necessary to supply, un-impeded, its Navy AND Europe with the goods and services required.
* In the soon-to-be completed game of Foreign Policy “Chess,” it will be “King” Putin to “pawn” B. Hussein for a checkmate.

Obama has vast experience as a Community Organizer, Nationalized the complete failure of 1/6 th of the US Economy, and has a sealed Haaaaaaaavud diploma to someday be unsealed and filed by his Nobel Peace Prize in his Chicagoland Library.
