It sounds like the start of a "political officer" system...

Child of the cold war.
My previous government indoctrinated me to watch for what my current government is doing.

Well we already seem to have our own Nomenklatura, why not Zampolit?

New American Vocabulary
1. Zampolit - Political officer who gives final authorization to a colleague to carry out some course of action, based on the political fitness of the proposed action.
2. Samizdat - The unofficial, popular press that reports through informal channels the news items that the political orthodoxy wants to suppress.
3. Nomenklatura - The official list of names of political actors approved of by the political leadership. These people enjoy extra income and/or political privilege.

Funny.... there isn't a 1000 year tradition of feudal overlordship in this country.
And the rowdy peasants are armed.

I remember 'em when they were 1960s violent campus radicals.. the MSM celebrated them as the most intelligent generation ever.
I knew it would happen.. now they and their ideological issue are arguably the Establishment. Words from Abe for America.
You initiated a policy to tolerate the Marxist-Alinsky radicals and let them rant; not only has it not ceased but was constantly augmented by decades of infiltration and indoctrination. You now have two Americas. In my opinion, it will not cease until a crisis shall have been reached and passed. A house divided against itself cannot stand.
