One of the supporters serving as a bodyguard for Nevada rancher Cliven Bundy during his standoff with federal authorities -- and who also happens to be black -- said he would still "take a bullet for" Bundy after the rancher made racially inflammatory comments.
CNN's Dan Simon noticed Jason Bullock, a six-year Army veteran who serves as one of Bundy's bodyguards, hanging around at the Nevada ranch. Simon asked Bullock whether he found Bundy's remarks about blacks and slavery offensive.
"Mr. Bundy is not a racist," he told CNN. "Ever since I've been here, he's treated me with nothing but hospitality. He's pretty much treating me just like his own family."
"I would take a bullet for that man if need be. I look up to him just like I do my own grandfather," he added. "I believe in his cause and after having met Mr. Bundy a few times, I have a really good feel about him and I'm a pretty good judge of character."

The New York Slimes pulled a fast one on all these people, including many in the media. But it’s not like they’ve done this for a long, long time. As a conservative minority, I waited to see if there was anything to this and like clockwork, just more deception and propaganda from the leftist media. The New York Slimes practices Alinsky tactics just like its master, the democrat party.
This reeks of desperation from both to try to use its influence and power to frame this story for its masters. The only thing that gives them any credibility is that people still listen to them but hopefully more and more tune them out as everyone sees just how corrupt they are along with their party. There is a good reason their numbers continue to decline. I say good riddance.

The NYT has done this so many times with various Catholic leaders, so I KNEW the other side - the truth - would come out eventually.
Especially the way he played up to Bundy and his family on his TV show, then to throw him under the bus before the dust had settled and the truth came out.
That's the most disgraceful part to me.

Good idea. I watched his head spinning wildly last night on the tv show and then turned him off for good (or until he apologizes to Mr. Bundy for Pawn’s hateful vitriol).
Rand Paul completely disgusted me with his denouncement. They all make me sick. I shut Comrade Beck off a long time ago.
Sean Hannity and Glen Beck are both dead to me. I now listen to country music instead of them.

Mine too! He had no problem supporting Trent Lott's comments which ultimately led to Lott's resignation but yet he's now throwing Bundy, a grass roots cattle farmer who doesn't know how to properly express his views, under the bus.

I capitalize the word Black when referring to the people as opposed to the color black. I have no idea why I do that, just my own way to differentiate. I am certainly not a liberal but will continue to capitalize it. Sorry it offends you, but I think we have more important things to worry about.
