Nevada assemblywoman Michele Fiore clashed with MSNBC’s Chris Hayes regarding rancher Cliven Bundy’s conflict with the federal government on Friday.
As Hayes pressed Fiore about her position on the standoff, she relentlessly criticized the government’s handling of the situation.
“Why are you there near the Bundy ranch tonight celebrating?” Hayes asks.
“Questioning why the heck the federal government felt the need to come in armed to collect an unpaid bill. I mean, that was pretty bold and blatant,” Fiore said. “I mean, generally when my — when our federal government comes in armed, we’re expecting a bigger problem… We will not allow governance by gunpoint, ever.”
When Hayes asked if Fiore agreed with Cliven Bundy, Fiore grew angry.
“No, Chris. Don’t put words in my mouth. I’m not saying I agree with Cliven Bundy. What I’m saying is the way this was handled is really suspicious,” she replied. “I mean, if we literally sent our federal government to the borders to secure ‘em against terrorists crossing, hey, I got that. But they want to come here with arms because cows are grazing? That’s uh — Chris, I’m sorry, I think you’re out of your mind.”

She is one of the good guys in the NV legislature. She fought hard to undo the intergalactic background bill that nannie bloomers was pushing so hard for. It passed but the gov. vetoed it. The forces of darkness vowed to bring it back up in the next session. I’m prepping myself for a lot of hearings and gathering info to counter their garbage. Amazing the amount of out of staters that were here pushing it. Stay out of NV and I’ll stay out of NY.

“No,” Hayes replied. “But is it OK with you if every rancher in the country stops paying their grazing fees?”
I wonder if the nutjobs at MSNBC are in favor of the IRS using unannounced assault tactics on Taxpayers who are late with their taxes, or who cheated the IRS.
A black congressman from N.Y. comes to mind as the first person who should be the first the IRS treats with unannounced assault tactics. Preferably in the middle of the week in the middle of the day. This would allow for great TV news coverage in NYC (Or maybe not)
When Hayes drew a comparison to an illegal immigrant taking up arms to avoid being deported,...ILLEGAL ALIEN being deported does not have a right to be armed. Being armed is a right for citizens of THIS country. How dumb can this dude be ?
She should have asked him if he would have approved of George W. Bush’s justice department going to Charlie Rangel’s house with guns pointed at him because he did not pay his taxes. And then demand an answer.

I think that the DemocRATs actually want to instigate this fight. They want dead on both sides to really begin to go into 'gun confiscation' mode.

Generally she was spot on and on point, but I was frustrated that she let sleaze his way out of the illegal appropriation of his land by the feds in the first place. He tried very hard to move the argument away from that argument and specifically away from the 'Bloody-Harry' Reid connection.
I found the new narrative to be rather interesting.
Basically, they are not saying that the BLM had the legal right, but that the State has a monopoly on violence, so therefore the Bundy’s have no right to resits.
I think you’re right. I think the collectivists are amazed that there has been no explosion over the past 5 years. They keep pushing for it. Pushing and pushing — but so far America has tried to abide by the rule of law and respond in a civil manner. But the collectivists will keep trying. They want the big excuse so that they can really begin ruling over us, not just governing us.
