And in response to such a development, the Russians have already said they will move their medium-range nuclear-tipped missiles to Kaliningrad. So then, the US moves in its medium-range nuclear-tipped missiles. Should make life interesting for the Poles and Lithuanians.

Pence for President. He’ll know what to do.

Of course no way we could term adding former East Bloc nations to NATO as aggression, or installing ABM’s in Poland. NATO policy is generated at the HQ of the World Bank and the IMF and the City of London. The only countries on the planet not up to their necks in debt to those loan shark outfits are commie countries. Restructure globalist banking, pass Glass-Steagall acts, stop the bail outs, jail the debt bundlers, outlaw derivatives trading. Too big to fail IS fascism. Repeat after me: “Banks, Bankers, Banking”.

called for the construction of a European missile defense shield to deter Russian aggression.

After 70 some years I think it is time for Europe to protect itself.

I’ve dealt with the Roosians before. We didn’t need some bobble-headed politician to fly over there to learn that.

If Ukraine’s situation is worth mentioning and the assault on US citizens by the BLM is not, his priorities are askew. I don’t agree that we should be involved in the European situation at all. Let Europe figure it out.

He was in Europe being asked about Russia. You expect him to ignore that and discuss immigration and the Bureau Land Management. You're either an utter moron, or are so blinded by some emotional block that you can't see the irrationality of what you're saying, or you're a single-issue poster with nothing substantive to say. No matter which, there's not much point in doing any more to try to drag you into the discussion. (Hint: It's about Russian expansionism, not Easter or the NBA playoffs or cancer research.)

Secondary. We need to pay attention HERE, first. China may be a threat to this country only economically, not militarily.

I do not have a military background, so I won’t venture an opinion on that.

I have however been there. I do know they’ve got their act together, very much so.

We need to take China very, very seriously.

Right now we seem to be treating China as an interesting aside.

The country currently has the second-largest military budget in the entire world, and five times America’s population.

And they export more than we do.

They make a huge amount of what we buy.

We are in my opinion, sleeping about China.

Just saying.

Sorry...I didn't read carefully enough that it was a specific question he was asked in Europe. But I wish our politicians were saying "the US has domestic problems we need to prioritize and Europe has to take responsibility for its own relationships with its neighbors and defense where necessary".

So, no, I don't think our politicians should be involved in Europe. Let them sort out the Ukranian situation themselves.

Lugar was only a Republican vote against Obamacare. Obama will veto a repeal.

At least Joe Donnelly is just a minor Democrat. Dan Coats about every kind of sanction that Russia should get.

Donnelly voted against the AWB and cop killer lawyer.

Groan .. IMHO, perhaps he would be better received if he was standing on Hoosier soil when he made his remarks. Get the hell home where you belong Mike Pense. McDaniels already made all the European comments that needed to be said by an Indiana Governor.

Germany already has your hole card and know from whence you came. Also, you are stepping all over McCain’s territory. You are wasting my tax money just to build your flimsy resume.

Indiana needs you to concentrate on totally removing “Common Core” from our Indiana vocabulary. When you return to Indiana get in your caravan and visit U.S. District Judge Richard Young and find out just who in his family is gay and wants to marry their ugly life partner.

That’s right, I said it, Mike is a good guy and has a great Hoosier family; I will always vote for him. But please, in my opinion, he has reached his top limit. Damn Peter principle has come to the Indiana Governor’s office.

Feels good to be a total moron blinded by the light.

In neighboring OH we've got Governor Kasich who's sometimes talked up as having presidential potential. Thank goodness he's at least staying in OH and doing an almost adequate job, as things aren't anywhere near as bad as they'd be if we had a democratic crazy (we just might next election).

But presidential potential? No way. He's a pro-corporate, toss the construction projects around kind of guy. Doesn't come across as Mensa material, if you get my drift.

I pretty much agree on Kasich being at or above his level of ability. But I'm also sick of Ivy Leaguers telling us how to live our lives. I think we need a guy from someplace like Eureka College....

I do agree with you about China. There is no reason we can’t be doing many things in parallel, and China as it the top as well. They are not saddled with the liberal crap that we are, and likely will never be.
