Western Washington University sent a questionnaire to students asking them for advice on how the administration could succeed at making sure that in future years, “we are not as white as we are today.”
The question notes that WWU’s racial make up does not perfectly reflect the nation at large, and asks students to consider strategies that other universities have used to focus on skin color as the paramount indicator of a student-applicant’s worth.
The president of WWU has stated that his explicit goal is to reduce the white population on campus, according to Campus Reform.
“I’ve said before and I’ll say it again, that we as a faculty and staff and student body, as an administration, if we 10 years from now are as white as we are today, we will have failed as a university,” said Bruce Shepard, president of WWU, in a 2012 address.
The statements and actions of administrators suggest a preoccupation with skin color at WWU. In his address, Shepard made sure to discuss the racial make up of his new hires.
The university is also putting staff members through diversity and sensitivity training on topics such as “heterosexual privilege,” and “language privilege.” Such sessions were made voluntary after some people complained.

I hope to God he is not getting paid on average GPA. Rock On! President of WWU. I hope you get exactly what you want, a low IQ student body that ends up with a majority of Majors in African Studies/Humanities/Socioligical Mannerisms, etc. Because as i interview people on a 3-4 people per week basis, i cannot contain my laughing out loud at the idiots that think they are qualified to work in the real world. And they tell me they want to work real hard, to pay off their student loans of $60K - $150K at a job that starts at $12 an hour. I know, at that point, the best thing to do in not hire this tard, as it is apparent they did not pass basic math...

Bruce Shepard hasn’t the intellect to realize that by
making this statement, he and his administration has already
failed and failed miserably. He is a most worthless
example of a human being.
Just include free crack cocaine, free basketball tickets, add an abortion clinic and institute a no-test, no-grades policy for minorities so they can all graduate magna cum laude.
They should ask applicants to submit a copy of their criminal record along with their high school transcripts. Applicants without criminal records go to the back of the line. Female applicants with first names beginning with “La” and male applicants with first names ending in “ell” go to the front of the line.
WA state should be renamed; it’s an insult to George Washington.
Everything evil coming out of this country today can be traced back to Academia or the Media!
-My daughter went to WWU, for her Freshman year. She couldn’t stand it because it was a big party school. The little kiddies had to play and didn’t have time to study. It was once called Western Washington State College of Education. That’s where the public school teachers came from. So, now it apparently has gotten worse, the dean doesn’t care about the quality of the professor but it’s all about the color of the skin. Bellingham WA is near the Canadian border and nearly all of it’s residence are white. So, if they want to get rid of the whites they better get rid of the town.
Remove the whites and Asians.
What’s left?
And will they continue to get donations and alumni funding?
