I wouldn’t rush to claim victory just yet. I am very happy for All of us and for my Country that violence was averted for the moment. The tinder has been lit and is smoking, however, and the People need to know what the facts are (is this Federal or State or Private land?)and who the government actors are who precipitated this totally contrived and unnecessary confrontation at this time. This had the immediate potential to turn into a massacre because the BLM, among many other Federal bureaucracies, have been given the authority and the funding to form and maintain their own paramilitary police forces and act as Judges, Juries and Executioner. This needs a fast and public look by the House and, after November, Congress needs to look into the entire issue of Federal bureaucracies essentially making their own rules, adjudicating the guilt of citizens who violate them and running their own little armies to enforce their decisions as they wish as well as impeach and convict each and every one of the BLM politicians who made the whole series of bad decisions that led up to the confrontations that erupted yesterday. NEVER AGAIN!!.
The BLM Army couldn’t even stand up to a little heat in the Nevada desert. A bunch of pussies.
Whoops. For anyone who still cares about things like grammar.... “...the BLM, among many other Federal bureaucracies, have...” That last “have” should be “has”
Somebody should be commended for ordering standing down. But that no less demands hearings and investigations of what occurred to prevent it from happening again in the future.
