CNN announced a new prime-time lineup Thursday that includes Jesus...
Most provocatively, the network announced at its upfront presentation to advertisers in New York City, The Jesus Code, a series which promises to take viewers on a forensic and archaeological journey through the Bible (cue jokes about CNN looking for a ratings miracle). Religious-themed programming has been considered hot since History stunned the industry with its ratings-shattering The Bible miniseries last year. The Jesus Code will take viewers on a thrilling high-stakes journey through forensics, biblical archeology and forgery in history, exploring the evidence of Jesus existence by questioning the authenticity of sacred relics.

Relics don't prove or disprove Jesus' existence. We have the ancient texts, and they are not "relics".
Yes, but the REAL question is if CNN is coming to Jesus.
Bring back Larry King...a true relic

I might actually tune in for Mike Rowe.
I am always amazed by the idiocy of producers. They see the success of The Passion or The Bible. And think, “I’ll make a religious movie and make a lot of money.”
Then they produce movies making fun of Jesus, the Bible and Christians, their idea of a “Christian movie,” and are surprised when they vanish without a trace.
It is possible, I think, for non-Christians to make movies showing the Christian POV sympathetically. But in most of what they produce what comes shining thru is their contempt for their intended audience.
Looks like AMC hit a home run with “Turn” with its patriotism and history.
Recently was dragged to God’s Not Dead by the wife. Have not been thrilled by most “Christian” movies I’ve seen in the past.
Pleasantly surprised by the movie. I think they could have made a much better movie with approximately the same script, just a few tweaks. But it was a pretty decent movie as is.
It was the last boiler I ever deslaggged in 40 years in the Power Industry, taught me the value of an education, paid for by GE.
God’s Not Dead is decent, and has had staying power...been in the top 5 movies for the last three weeks.
“Courageous”, “Fireproof” and “Facing the Giants” were decent flicks, too.
Not in a gazillion years.
I got the same lessons working summers in steel fabrication shops.
It will probably make “The DaVinci Code” look more authentic than the actual Bible. But then I’m being optimistic for CNN
