Representative John Becker of Ohio has called to impeach a federal judge due to his recent rulings involving gay marriage. Becker says that U.S. District Court Judge Timothy Black has abused his power and went against the state and federal constitution through his pro-gay decisions.
Becker’s office released a statement writing, “In an epic display of arrogance and incompetence, Judge Black announced that he will require the people of Ohio to disregard the Ohio Constitution and force the recognition of ‘homosexual marriages’ performed outside of Ohio. He persists in allowing his personal political bias to supersede jurisprudence.”
In December the judge ruled that state officials must recognize same-sex marriages on death certificates. Black has announced that his next move is to remove Ohio’s gay marriage ban, though the ban was approved by the majority of voters in 2004 reports Christian News.
Representative Becker believes Black’s actions are just cause for dismissal and has proposed a resolution of his impeachment. The resolution has not had received a hearing.
The resolution reads in part, “...the impeachment of rogue federal judges will begin the process of restoring state sovereignty to the original intent of the United States Constitution…”
Black was appointed to the post by President Barack Obama.

These people need to be impeached. It might not stop the march of the homo agenda, but I want to DESTROY these judge’s careers.
One impeachment might get the ball rolling.

I don’t see how ANY judge can go against his sworn avowal of the law. IMPEACH THEM.
Decades past time to start impeaching judges who make laws. Justice Roberts included.
Do it, but we will all be called you know what. Truth and morality does not matter anymore, all that matters is the constant accusations, the constant badgering the left hopes will wear everyone down, and it usually works.

Federal judges should be limited to one 10 year term.

I’d prefer something less and renewable on good behavior.

There needs to be a whole lot more of this. Representatives swear an oath to the Constitution and are an equal part in protecting its integrity. The only arrow in their quiver is impeaching those judges over whom they have complete dominion. It’s at their complete discretion what constitutes an impeachable offense. Contravening the law seems like a good place to start. If a couple dozen judges start being removed for fabricating law, the rest might straighten up their acts. Let’s roll.
One hopes this recent phase of American lunacy is coming to an end. This is positive. Support this good American.

The President with Senate confirmation of a reappointment or removal. They’d have to have a time frame without which it would go to a House vote.
I’d like to see them staggered like Senators, so 3 years for 9 Scotus justices...therefore 3 years for all lesser courts.
I also like to see them better regionalized. The current court, believe it or not is: 5 New Yorkers, 2 New Jerseyites, 2 Californians, and one Georgian.
They definitely snubs its nose at flyover country.

Someone is finally getting serious about the out of control, lawless ‘judges’. We need to start impeaching judges by assembly line.
