You just can’t make this up! Gun runner Eric Holder wants to force gun owners to wear government approved bracelets. The Sun Times reported:
How’s this for gun control: Attorney General Eric Holder said the Justice Department wants to explore gun tracking bracelets as part of a new form of gun control.
While appearing in front of the House appropriations subcommittee on Friday, Holder focused on technological innovations.
“I think that one of the things that we learned when we were trying to get passed those common sense reforms last year, Vice President Biden and I had a meeting with a group of technology people and we talked about how guns can be made more safe,” he said. “By making them either through finger print identification, the gun talks to a bracelet or something that you might wear, how guns can be used only by the person who is lawfully in possession of the weapon.
“It’s those kinds of things that I think we want to try to explore so that we can make sure that people have the ability to enjoy their Second Amendment rights, but at the same time decreasing the misuse of weapons that lead to the kinds of things that we see on a daily basis,” Holder said.

Criminals wear bracelets. I suppose all guns that can’t be retrofitted will need to be confiscated. FUEH!

This is their trial balloon. In the end they won’t settle for bracelets to operate weapons. This is the first step toward the required “star of David” to be worn by all non-democrat, non-fascists so that they can be identified for beatings and elimination.
Will they want monitoring bracelets for first amendment activities too ?
Instead of calling him a gun runner, which is true, perhaps he should be called a “gun criminal”, or more technically true, an “unindicted gun criminal”. “Unindicted gun trafficker?”
Will the youth gangs who lay waste to our cities be required to wear these bracelets, since they all have guns???

I’m sure that microchips will be the 21st century version of the Star of David.
It sounds a lot like wearing the Star of David on the sleeve.
It’s not a bad idea actually, from the perspective of the owner of the gun being able to pick it up and have it automatically unlock and be ready for use, as opposed to the time necessary to take a fingerprint scan, punch in a pin code, etc.
But that’s ONLY from a voluntary use perspective. Downsides include the ability of the police (or someone who had hacked police capability) to keep the gun locked down, remotely, the ability to electonically track and trace guns in realtime, etc.
I *might* be willing to have one of these as a primary home defense weapon, under certain circumstances. With another weapon that didn’t have such a locking mechanism close by (and more concealed at the expense of instant access) in case the primary didn’t work when I needed it to.
Let's see, Holder works for the antiCHRIST, so this must be THE MARK OF THE BEAST!
