100 %? Puleeze. I know where there are policies that have risen 300 % not to mention the deductible went up 6 times so its really even more than that.

In effect these will only be disaster coverage policies and you will end up paying $5 - 10K a year with no real benefit. What a effing scam! The liberals that support this either don’t pay for it or are complete idiots!

We knew that from the gitgo. It was only the Obama worshipers, Obama voters, and parasites that did not. And they still do not. why? Because they don't/won't have to pay it. As long as they are the right political flavor, the Government will pay theirs.

You basically have a choice. You pay $600 a month ($7200 a year) for three-star health policy, with a $6000 deductible...equaling a maximum of $13,200 a year in total costs.

Or you pay $900 a month ($10,800 a year) for four-star-plus insurance, with a $2,400 deductible....equaling a maximum of $13,200 a year in total costs.

The only way of saving money? You go for option one, and just refuse to go for anything requiring a doctor’s visit.

Once you crossed the street and started to pay for your all-ailments-neighbor and extra services that you didn’t ever desire in the old policy scheme....you got yourself in a money-pyramid scheme. If any company were to offer a $15,000 deductible and a monthly deal of $150...that would be the way to go, and just use the stupid policy for catastrophic gimmicks.

Or both.

Yep. The closest equivalent individual plan from my old provider went up 60%—and gained thousands and thousands and thousands in deductibles. Stuff that used to be covered 100% I now have to pay in full until my combined deductibles and premiums (notice how they never include premiums in “out-of-pocket expenses”?) approach $12K a year.

And I’m healthy. Only need to go annually for a blood test to update a low-cost prescription.

Yes, the much narrower doctor/hospital options + much higher deductibles were required to keep premiums from going up even higher.

Barry and his ‘RATS made health care so “affordable” that it’s about to become unaffordable.

I could have sworn that the MSM told us a couple weeks ago, that the rise in health insurance cost was at its lowest rate in years. Due to the ACA.

The price of insurance will soon outpace the average family’s ability to pay. I’m sure the Dems are counting on it so they can can start pushing for single payer.

If you make $50,000 per year before taxes how are you going to pay $15,000-$20,000 per year for insurance and still live? You will have to give up more than cable and cell phone.

That's the plan. They will create a crisis and hope they're in charge when the low infos finally figure out this isn't working. The Dem's solution will be single payer.

I'm not sure how the corporatist health insurance companies will handle single payer, but I'm sure they have a plan in place.

The insurance companies aren’t stupid. They know they have the perfect scapegoat in Obamacare to blame for jacked up rates and deductibles.

I don’t think there will be single payer. Big Business wants out of the health care providing racket...it’s too hard on the bottom line. Big Health Insurance wants forced customers under the rule of law, which they now have. I look for employer provided insurance to become a thing of the past, and penalties for individuals who don’t buy insurance to increase to onerous levels so that they HAVE to buy insurance. It’s a tidy system.
