Attorney General Eric Holder admitted Tuesday that the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives was in the process of looking at the use of domestic drones.

Rep. Ted Poe, R-Texas, questioned Holder during a House Judiciary Committee hearing, asking the Attorney General if he believed if the Federal Aviation Administration or Congress should regulate of drone use.

“Would you think that it would be better that Congress intervene and employ legislation safeguarding the Fourth Amendment, right of privacy basically on citizens or do you suggest as Attorney General that the FAA still control who gets a drone or not?” Poe asked.

Holder did not specifically address Poe’s question but reveled some details of the use of drones in the Justice department....

I can, and have on occasion, brought down crows in flight with my 220 swift. Now, my eyes aren’t what they used to be, but I’m pretty sure a drone wouldn’t stand a chance.

I think CT is actually the closest to sparking… I rather suspect that CT is the field-text for a wider scheme of gun-control.
If nothing happens then there is little to stop them from thinking that patriot gun-owners are just Republicans (i.e. all talk, no action) and trying to implement it across the nation (like they did w/ Romneycare → Obamacare).

Wonder how good the stick jockies controlling the drones are at an old fashioned dog fight.

I'll venture 50% are not bad just from the video game generation.

I'll say forget trying to shoot 'em down in a Dogfight. However if they are busy looking down & around for a target it will be a matter of doing a Kamakaiz number on any control surface and that UAV is going down.

Think what they did with the V1 by Wing Tipping them.
