The irony of this is lost on the left. The vast majority of liberal voters that pushed for this are city dwellers (like NYC) where guns are illegal (by and large). The gun owners are in the rural parts of NY state and are the minority as the voting populace go (More Republicans are gun owners = assumed).

So, quite obviously, officials elected by liberals, passed laws that would criminalize a good chuck of their opposition. And they found the affected parties are objecting by avoiding participation in a mandate.

Good for them. I expect there have been a lot of boating accidents in and around New York recently. lol

Wouldn’t it be funny if a conservative decided to ban computers, cell phones, etc. Cell phones are used to form flash mobs and flash mobs are bad so therefore cell phones should be banned. I can imagine the outcry as they claim constitutional rights and financial harm. Yet these are the same people who want to take away a constitutionally protected right causing thousands of dollars in financial losses (I know of one person claiming to have over $7,000 in his AR) and perhaps much more if one happens to be a collector or just someone who enjoys shooting various weapons. Can anyone tell me why liberals want to tell everyone what to do and force the individual to conform? Or why this is good and just leaving people alone with a basic set of rules is bad?
