I agree. We are going to be fulltime in the mountains pretty soon. The city is going to be untenable.

All the usual places, since a lot of us greyheads can’t afford those fancy “fingerboxes”, are fine, but I think the time has come to lug one with you in the house.
Think: The ‘uh-oh’ moment comes, and you are in the kitchen and ‘it’ is in the bedroom. I prefer revolvers that can be handled well, that folks can be confident with, and not fearful of, for just such times. The caliber is of THEIR choice, not mine, as is the preferred cartridge in it.
