I think that protrusion near the middle is part of a mine defense, otherwise the Germans could just float mines down the river.

Seriously, Lynn-Dah doesn’t even seem to care whether i feed her or not. Sometimes she lets her food dish sit nice and full in the kitchen while she follows me around the house.

Eventually she finishes her meal, but it’s not her first priority.
