Coulter: Mitt Romney in 2016; "Cruz A Disaster On Illegal Immigration"
Real Clear Politics ^ | 4/3/2014 | Staff

HOWIE CARR, HOST: Who are you for, for president right now, Ann?

ANN COULTER: Well, don't tell him but I'm planning on giving Mitt Romney a little more time to rest -- flying out, kidnapping him and depriving him of sleep, food and water until he agrees to run again.

CARR: You're kidding?

COULTER: No.

CARR: You really want him to run again?

COULTER: Yeah, I think he was a fantastic candidate. As I've told you before, he would have won by a larger landslide than Ronald Reagan did in 1980 without Teddy Kennedy's immigration bill. And it's basically impossible to beat an incumbent, but he is head and shoulders better than the other candidates we had. And I don't want to name them, but I mean you go through the list -- and for one thing, as you and I discussed, and this is the most important point, that all of your listeners have to tell all of their friends knock it off with the Congressmen or inspirational figures. It's got to be a Governor or a Senator, preferably a Governor. And, you know, there is a limited world -- a list of who those people are, and they all have problems. None of them are articulate and reasonable, and as good on immigration as Mitt Romney! CARR: What about Ted Cruz?

COULTER: Well, he's a lot worse on immigration.

CARR: Is he that bad? I didn't think he was that bad on immigration.

COULTER: Well, most Republicans are, that's why you need to call your Congressman. I'm not singling out Ted Cruz, he has the same position a lot of these idiots have. 'Oh yes, let them come here and we have a special permit, we just won't give them citizenship. But we want to increase ...

If 20,000,000 illegal immigrants can BREAK THE LAW without consequence, can’t good old citizens ignore the ObamaCare law without consequence. Isn’t there ONE reporter capable of coming up with a question like this for Carney?

The way she has been sounding, the GOPe must have ‘promised’ to make her the next DeeDee Myers.

She keeps heading in the direction she is going, she will be replacing Jay Carney for BO

You need serious help. Seek treatment.

What BT said, and I would add this: While you are at it, double your body weight. Eat a grape.

I think you’re wrong here.

http://www.theblaze.com/stories/2014/01/30/ted-cruz-has-a-stern-message-to-republicans-currently-pushing-for-immigration-reform/

Cruz has been spot on with true conservatives regarding immigration reform.

He’s a smart man and knows that illegal aliens granted amnesty will vote overwhelmingly democrat even though they would not yet be citizens.

When times are good again, if we ever see good times again, bringing in migrant labor can be helpful to the USA. The problem is not immigrant labor, it is the democrat socialist state that caters to and coddles them for the purpose of securing their vote whether those votes are legal or not.

Take apart the democrat socialist state that inhabits federal agencies and migrant labor can be an asset.

Cruz on the annual intake of H-1B visas:

Sen. Cruz’s amendment would:

Immediately increase the H-1B cap by 500 percent from 65,000 to 325,000.

On green cards:

Cruz 1324: Green Card (LPR) reform to modernize, streamline and expand legal immigration

This amendment would streamline and simplify our legal immigration system by consolidating segmented visas, creating real and transparent caps, eliminating the diversity visa lottery, and treating all immigrants equally by eliminating the per-country caps.

Provisions of his amendment include:Doubling the overall worldwide green card caps from 675,000 visas per year to 1.35 million per year (not including refugees and asylees):

Coulter disses Ted Cruz, the most articulate Conservative in decades while proclaiming a Massachusetts RINO a “fantastic candidate”.

Ann is no T.E.A. Party Conservative, she'll most likely throw her support to Jeb Bush, hide & watch.

Thank you for reasoning - with facts - what Sen Cruz’ stance is on immigration reform. It’s NOT amnesty, as many here have said.

Why ANYONE on this site would side with the likes of Ann and Milt - and, essentially Midge, Bonehead and Lyin’ Ryan, over Sen Ted Cruz, is beyond me.

From your link…

Republicans, along with leadership, are meeting at a three day retreat along Maryland’s eastern shore Thursday, and the top piece of business is immigration. Republican House Speaker John Boehner, from Ohio and Rep. Paul Ryan, of Wisconsin, among others, are trying to advance immigration legislation prior to heading into the midterm election campaign.

The senator (Cruz) said in a statement emailed to TheBlaze that “amnesty is wrong in any circumstance.”

Cruz said he recognizes that the current immigration system is broken. He said, however, Republicans should wait until next year, contending it would make more sense “so that we are negotiating a responsible solution with a Republican Senate majority rather than with Chuck Schumer.”

“Anyone pushing an amnesty bill right now should go ahead and put a ‘Harry Reid for Majority Leader’ bumper sticker on their car, because that will be the likely effect if Republicans refuse to listen to the American people and foolishly change the subject from Obamacare to amnesty,” he said.

Has a liberal made Ann a proposal?

Is her bioclock alarming?

Will she curtail her mascara?
