Yeah, right. Actually, the number of beat cops has gone down significantly since the Nineties and many of the replacements look like they’re right out of the academy. This is the same “talent” that only solves and prosecutes 35% of murders in Chicago.
Sorry, Bert, but it just ain't so. That culture breeds like rabbits (it boosts welfare income), and replenishes itself enough to more than make up for the loss of a few hundred baby-daddys a year.

the likely reason crime went down is due to the harsh winter. once things heat up things will start to heat up again.
