THAD COCHRAN ATTACKS TEA PARTY RIVAL CHRIS MCDANIEL FOR ATTENDING TEA PARTY EVENT
Breitbart ^ | April 4, 2014 | by MICHAEL PATRICK LEAHY

Posted on 04/04/2014 3:43:38 PM PDT by Jim Robinson

Friday morning, Sen. Thad Cochran's (R-MS) campaign sent out a press release criticizing his GOP primary challenger, state senator Chris McDaniel, for planning to attend a major Tea Party rally this weekend.

"This Saturday, Kentucky will focus on the Final Four in Texas, Thad Cochran's campaign will focus on Mississippi...and Chris McDaniel will focus on...Kentucky?" the release began.

"I love how Orwellian they get," FreedomWorks President Matt Kibbe told Breitbart News as part of an exclusive interview. Kibbe's group is hosting the event, titled "Free PAC Kentucky," which will feature remarks by Glenn Beck and is taking place Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell's political back yard.

"If anybody's a Washington insider it's Thad Cochran," Kibbe said of the six-term, 76-year-old senior Senator from Mississippi.

For Kibbe, author of the new book Don't Hurt People and Don't Take Their Stuff, the notion that the Cochran campaign has any "grassroots" component is hysterical.

My Daddy knew Thad and his family, so I think he must’ve been back a few times though maybe he knew him before I was born. LOL My Daddy would not be happy about so many things today.

Cochran is a demented 76 year old fossil.

Preposterous that creatures like him will do whatever it takes to make sure they stay in Congress until they either die or become so senile that they are incomprehensible, and even then are mostly successful at keeping their seats.

Term Limits via an Article V Amendment is our last chance.

OMG, a member of the TEA Party is going to a Tea Party event. TC, if you want to go to a Moderate Democrat Party event you can, but please, STFU. You're a moron who would fight Conservatives instead of the Marxists.

When was the last time you were home in Mississippi, Thad?

Yes, ha, they’re still using “Tea Party” like it’s a bad word. Go ahead, keep doing it. You’re only making more and more people laugh.

Um... isn’t Cochran the same guy who, a week or two ago, claimed he didn’t even know what the TEA Party was?!?! LOL

Kind of reaching there, ain’t we Thad? What is this knucklehead trying to say other than FU to the Tea Party. Another RINO ready to go down to defeat.

I was very disappointed to see the NRA is backing this traitor. There are signs everywhere in Mississippi that say “RetireThad Cochran”
It’s past time for him to retire.

The NRA can be confusing in their endorsements, because they go by voting record only. Sometimes the opponent does not have any voting record to go by. That’s what happened when they endorsed Gillibrand in NY over a much more conservative opponent who had no voting record.

Not sure if that is true in this case, but it probably is. I’m sure the 2A people will let me know if I’m wrong.

I don’t see any other way the NRA could do it, really. They have to have a clear standard or there would be constant disputes.

I’ve been saying that it’s time to Organize “THE CONSERVATIVE PARTY of AMERICA”. But, the word “conservative” has been so demonized in the minds of millions of Americans, I can go with “THE AMERICAN LIBERTY PARTY” or just “THE LIBERTY PARTY”. I like the way you think and express yourself.

That’s great news! Are those signs paid for by a PAC or by Chris McDaniel’s campaign? Whoever is paying for, and distributing, them, God bless them.

The defeat of Thad Cochran will be a triple whammy:

1. One less RINO in the Senate.
2. A major blow and a “eff you” to the GOPe.
3. And a big-time rejection of the twangy Haley Barbour who has worked so hard for the old fart.

I’m lovin’ this!

I have long said we need a new 3rd Party

Impossible, a conservative "3rd Party" only serves to elect RATs. (See: History)

Unless and until you completely have a majority of something in either the House or Senate, whoever does WILL control the committees and the floor votes.

How many decades do you have?

Besides, there are already 53 "third parties".

Once the Republicans were a 3rd Party. Maybe we need to take over one of the existing 3rd Parties. Its that or be locked into the Two Party system—with outany real differences—we that have now. Rino Republicans or Progressive Democrats until they merge into the Progressve-Workers party in the future. Now they just trade jobs—in the future a one party state will surface—and elections will be forced—and rigged.

We need to take back the Republican Party.

Its that or be locked into the Two Party system

What's wrong with two parties?

What percentage make up a majority?

RE Cochran:

Don’t ya just love it when the Old Guard shows their true colors...

They want to protect their Gravy Train at all costs.

I hope we throw their traitorous rear ends into the gutter this November - along with their democrat fellow travelers.
