gay people can’t marry in the eyes of God.
G’bye!
I’m sure she left for her very own reasons. many so-called Christians today have abandonded the Christ-like principal that you can love the sinner while still holding firm to the Law.
Sounds like we found the main source of where the nutso policy originated.
NOW...we have a clue as to who was trying to steer this thing where. More lefty top-down activism.
Out of the world’s population, 2-3% are considered to be actively homosexual.
Out of this number a small percentage want to “get married”.
Out of this number x number consider themselves Christians.
Out of this number y number want to work for a charitable organization.
Out of this number a small subset want to work for World Vision specifically.
Just HOW many people are actually affected by maintaining the policy as it was???
1) How long has Ms. Fuller been on the WV board?
2) And why is does she suddenly feel compelled to resign?
3) Why did she accept the WV board position in the first place?
4) Without trying to impugn her motives, but did Ms. Fuller join the WV board with the hope or intent of changing their foundational tenets? In other words, was Ms. Fuller motivated to be an agent of change rather than to be of service to the board?
Anyone who supports this abominable and disease-ridden lifestyle has no place in any Christian organization. You have to wonder what is in her closet.
she remains a “huge fan” of the group’s work on behalf of the poor, but she resigned Friday “as I disagreed with the decision to exclude gay employees who marry.”
The Bible calls it ‘vile affections’ not love.
The fact that this leftist was on the board to begin with doesn’t speak well of the spiritual health of World Vision.
personally the entire board ought to step down.
they all voted for it. they allsaid they “prayed for years” over this subject before voting unanimously to approve it. they defended their decision by the fact they had said they prayed earnestly about this for years before voting on the change.
they ALL need to go.
Homosexual uproar.....nothing happy and light hearted about it
The rest if the board needs to go too
Pray for her true conversion to Christianity (because she apparently doesn’t believe in Jesus), and be glad that she’s gone from this organization.
Good - every board member who voted for the policy to hire gays should resign.
good riddence to bad rubbish!
