People trying to apply and enroll for private health insurance through Obamacare before Monday's midnight deadline discovered the website was "currently unavailable."
Healthcare.gov, the online marketplace bedeviled by bugs since its launch last fall, went down for several hours Monday morning, a statement from the Department of Health and Human Services said. It was back online later in the morning after a short time when it put customers in a "queue," meaning they'd be notified by email when they could proceed with enrollment.

Sure. I always schedule my routine maintenance on the busiest days of the year, when major events either spin up or close out.
Lies are bad enough, but these are STUPID lies. And the media is to lazy to ask any further.
More Rat justification for postponing the deadline for anyone who says they tried to sign up.
I bet they took it down as an excuse to ignore the deadline.
Was this the extension of the second extending of the absolutely final (but slightly extended) delayed retroactive sign up date?

Probably hacked....they just won’t admit it.
That was my first thought. I pictured the guy from "Airplane" unplugging the runway lights, "Just kidding!".
I suppose they needed to come up with something that would at least point to some legitimacy for delaying the mandate some more. Never mind that the website STILL apparently doesn't work. The MSM will give them cover on that issue.
And tomorrow, they will announce that another 1 million people signed up, or visited, or called, or thought about visiting the site to get Obamacare, Medicaid, Medicare, EBT cards, Welfare, Social Security.... or something else they have a “RIGHT” to get from the guvmnt.

I bet this was planned. The Administration wanted to extend the sign up period and this is a convenient pretext to do so. It will also help them cook the books so they reach 7 million.
AP said that the website “stumbled.” Right.
