Fracking is a black cat crossing the Democrats' path, and they have succeeded in having it banned in a variety of places across the country. In Colorado, one county and five cities have blocked the process. So what if it were banned throughout the entire state?

The new regulations in California on Fracking has caused a big layoff of oil workers and the rigs are moving out.
Permitting delays related to California's new hydraulic fracturing law are taking a toll on Kern County oil field employment.
Oil services giant Baker Hughes Inc. said Friday it is laying off or reassigning 110 workers in Bakersfield, Shafter and the Los Angeles Basin -- a modest but significant share of its California workforce, a company manager said -- because of delays its customers face in getting approval to "frack" wells under Senate Bill 4.
Halliburton, another large national company offering fracking services locally, said it will redeploy about 70 California employees to other states but not cut its Kern County workforce. It did not directly blame the move on permitting delays, but said customers' ability to obtain permits is among the main variables affecting its business.
“New York state is finding out the hard way why not allowing fracking in the state is costing the state a lot of tax revenue, while Pennsylvania and Ohio nearby are enjoying the fruits of that tax revenue.”

The Obama and others on the Left’s opposition to efficient fracturing of Oil and Gas reservoirs is just another diversionary smokescreen to hide their main goal of Nationalizing the US Oil and Gas Industry.
As Obamacare continues to fail and drain more and more money out of the already bankrupt US Treasury, another income stream will have to be diverted from the private sector to the insatiable vote-buying greed of “both” Federal political parties.
I suspect that Obama is withholding approval of the XL Pipeline until the opportune time when Obama will be “forced to save” the US Oil and Gas Industry by Nationalizing all US Oil & Gas pipelines, and then use taxpayer dollars to built the XL Pipeline to Chicago with all Union Labor, and Democrat Contractors.
Obama would then have a secure income stream to pay for much of Obamacare, or any replacement insurance “tax” derivatives as might be proposed in the future by the doormat RINOs or Mrs. Bill Clinton.
Of course the b_tards would like to nationalize the oil industry.
Maxine Waters has been videoed saying just that. She is not smart enough for that to be an original idea she had. They have long planned how to do just that.
Of course like Chavez, it would not take long and the oil industry would be the disaster that everything else they control is.
