The headline and first paragraph at an Associated Press item on a union strike authorization vote in Las Vegas are both far more vague than they could or should be.

Though the rest of Ken Ritter's coverage at least identifies the union involved, it completely fails to get to the heart of the matter, which is that Obamacare is causing huge increases in their employers' cost of providing health care coverage.

Not to worry. I'm sure hairy reid-iculous has something in the works to take care of his NV voting block. He needs them for the next election.

Truth be told, my mother and sister have been in the culinary union in Vegas since about 1988. While they were both acolytes of Harry, the Dems and the union, they flipped in the last general as did many others they work(ed) with. My mom just retired at 82 years because she got tired of the BS, not because she wasn’t able to do the job.

If you connect the dots, you see the pattern for the Democrat solution to the Obamacare cost increase problem.

Dot 1........ the campaign to raise the Federal minimum wage
Dot 2........ a union in Dingy harryville strikes for higher wages
Dot 3......Some Rat controlled states and cities have raised the minimum wage already

The connection is Obamacare cost. Raise wages and the pain of increased Obamacare cost goes away. All the raise goes to pay for insurance.

The process has been underway since at least December 2012 but has failed. There will be real Rat Panic if it fails now.

Kudos and congrats to your Mom. That’s a long dang time to work. Hopefully (although to late for the next 3 years) more of the unions folks will finally wake up and realize they’ve been lied to for too many years while the big cheese union guys live it up. They may strike but you can bet the big cheese ain’t missin’ anything.

The Teamsters and the steelworkers are pissed about the keystone pipeline being blocked too.

The unions aren’t happy with the rats.

40,000 longshoreman quit the AFL-CIO over owebamacare too.

Someday we'll get Union members - but never Union leaders... Still, that's great news.

Embrace the suck. You union jerks helped obamacare ever step of the way. I hope it harms unions the most.
