YOKOHAMA, Japan — Climate change is already having sweeping effects on every continent and throughout the world’s oceans, scientists reported Monday, and they warned that the problem is likely to grow substantially worse unless greenhouse emissions are brought under control.

The report by the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change, a United Nations group that periodically summarizes climate science, concluded that ice caps are melting, sea ice in the Arctic is collapsing, water supplies are coming under stress, heat waves and heavy rains are intensifying, coral reefs are dying, and fish and many other creatures are migrating toward the poles or in some cases going extinct.

I promise I’ll follow the libs as soon as they start living the life they want for all of us. Twigs for breakfast. Nuts for lunch. Insects for dinner. Freezing in the winter, scalding in the summer. Nobody can travel more than 50 miles from his/her birthplace over their entire lives. No more vacation trips. Live in a 350 sq ft. apartment next to the light rail system.

You first, Libs. Then I’ll take you seriously.

What? So we should be immune from changes in the climate, where for eons we had to adapt?

Then to pretend we know intermediate and long terms affects of making a change in the climate if we could?

So the climate changed and we did it. Is is bad in the intermediate and long term? They can’t answer that. We know the climate will be different, it always surprises, but is it bad overall?

And if there is global warming, doesn’t that mean more arable land with which to grow food?

These people can not find their asses with two hands and a clue and they think they can control the average temperature of a planet by reducing human contributions to CO2 in the atmosphere?

The worse will always be “yet to come”

People have made a lot of money over the years by proclaiming, 'The Worst Is Yet to Come."

There is no doubt that the earth's climate changes. The climate changes happen in cycles over hundreds of years.

To the idiot algore believers, it will change again over hundreds of years, and you assholes can't do anything about it.

Well, a good number of environmentalists would like to kill 90% of us off and the sooner the better. The climate will continue to change because that’s what it’s always done.

If we get rid of domesticated animals to help with the methane and outlaw the internal combustion engine, that should starve at least 50% of us. The remaining people will live such meager and cheerless lives that those not in power will lose their will to live.

“The planet has been through a lot worse than us. Been through earthquakes, volcanoes, plate tectonics, continental drift, solar flares, sun spots, magnetic storms, the magnetic reversal of the poles … hundreds of thousands of years of bombardment by comets and asteroids and meteors, worldwide floods, tidal waves, worldwide fires, erosion, cosmic rays, recurring ice ages … And we think some plastic bags and some aluminum cans are going to make a difference? The planet isn’t going anywhere. WE are!” - George Carlin

This guy Justin Gillis is a real jerk.

I looked around and found an article on him. He has dedicated his life to being crazy:
