Speaking at the press conference after the EU-US summit yesterday the US President wrongly suggested that Georgia "is not currently on a path to NATO membership". In fact the country has been on the path to membership since 2008.
At the North Atlantic Council in Bucharest that year the attending Heads of State and Government agreed the following statement: "NATO welcomes Georgia’s Euro-Atlantic aspirations for membership in NATO. We agreed today that they will become members of NATO."
Former Georgian Ambassador to London Giorgi Badridze, told Breitbart London: "President Obama's remarks could hardly have come at a worse time – or have been formulated in a worse manner.
"Firstly, it's wrong to link Georgia's aspirations for NATO membership with those of Ukraine. Georgia has been working hard to achieve more progress in that direction, while Ukraine formally withdrew from the process years ago.

What a moron. Had to post, just to say this really TICKS ME OFF, that we have such an unfit President...you have to be a special kind of arrogant and stupid to make these completely avoidable and hideously embarrassing mistakes!! (see my previous snarky rant re: Kosovo...it’s appalling!)
And will the major US state controlled media report these instances? (Rhetorical question) Russia Today would be more likely to mention it.
I'd like to know when someone is going to interview the press and ask questions like, " why do you protect certain politicians and not others. Then give examples of Dan Quayle and the potato misspelling and then Obama saying that there are 57 states.
If I was Boehner, I’d call a press conference. I’d have an easel with a large photo under a cover. I’d have a stand with a cover. I’d walk out and pull the cover off the easel. There would be a big photo of Obama. Then, I’d pull the cover off the stand. There would be a red reset button. I’d push the reset button and walk away. I wouldn’t say a word.
To bad you aren’t Bohner. Things would be way better.
