After enduring months of homophobic attacks, including gunfire and toxic gas, Russia's largest gay nightclub, Central Station, has finally closed its doors for good.
The club management surrendered to a spate of harassment in late February, after a group of men allegedly blocked the front gates, preventing patrons from entering the building safely, according to staff members who were on the scene. The well-known club was widely considered a haven and a symbol of freedom for the country's besieged LGBT community.
"All was [taken] by our enemies," lamented former club dancer Alexander Moskalets. "It's all gone."
"They really stopped the normal work of our club," said a manager, who asked that his name not be used out of safety concerns.
"Of course, I'm sad," he added, "but I was ready for this situation."
Prior to the shutdown, "Nightline" aired a special report on the Moscow nightclub after a months-long investigation into the business's effort to survive. "Nightline" traveled to Russia amid evidence of escalating violence against the LGBT community there following the passage the Kremlin's controversial "anti-gay propaganda" law.

Really? I thought the hallmark of Communism was destroying a nation, its people, its culture, its history, its economy, and the very idea of decency and normalcy. This, of course, what we have going on in this country. But is this what is happening in Russia?
Putin is a strong man ruler, there is no doubt, but a Communist?
If the US was a godly nation, we’d re-criminalize homosexuality, if for no other reason than we desired God’s blessings again. But we’ve become too depraved and too demonic to want God’s blessings anymore. Our sin is far, far too important.
That they insist on using this psychological term which, last i heard, even the AP discourages, attests to their commitment to furthering the homosexual; agenda (which of course, they will deny exist), being driven by Christophobia.

I object to their use of the tern “homophobic.” This term is intentionally meant to be hurtful. My fweelings are hurt. They should use the term “morally correct” or something like that.
Yep, the #1 issue in the entire world is homosexuality. Our entire foreign policy seems focused on it. Forget about everything else. Does your country allow “gay marriage” and treat anal sodomy like it’s normal and natural? No? Well, America won’t stand for that!
That said, I adamantly oppose violence against homosexuals. I think they’re mentally ill perverts, but I respect their right to do their detestable deeds as consenting adults in private. What they do not have a right to do is tell me and mine we have to give our approval to those deeds. They also cross the line when they try to propagandize my children or demand that government give its stamp of approval to their perversity.
There are Christians being murdered all over the world, but like you wrote, our media and government are focused like a laser beam on homosexuality. It’s sick—truly pathetic.
I’m sorry, but I’m no longer proud of America. I love her and will work to restore her, but I despise what she’s become. It seems like our government is on the wrong side of virtually every issue these days.

I think that sums it up. America is on the decline. We’ve even embraced it, because the left thinks America must be fundamentally transformed in order to create their new utopia. You can’t create a one world government with nation states like America standing in the way.
Well, it is good that it is shut down. I think I would have preferred that the government shut it down. The way it was shut down makes it seem like those that are responsible broke laws, when it would have been better if the government assumed proper authority and responsibility for shutting it down.

Being driven by normalphobia! One doesn’t have to be a Christian to understand it’s not normal for a man to bugger another man. Not only that, but anal sodomy is a public health threat. Meaning? Government has a legitimate interest and should discourage homosexuality, because it spreads disease.
