Why has our President allowed our economy to languish?

Exactly.

Russia is going to build its own national credit/debit card payment system. Good bye Visa/Mastercard and Western financial sanctions.

Its a good thing they came now so Russia can quickly address its financial vulnerabilities.

And by off-loading the dollar, Russia can eliminate its dependence on the Western financial system led by the US. In other words, the US led declaration of economic war on Russia did not lead Moscow to capitulate as expected.

The Kremlin is now following the path of autarky. What is the end result? Crimea river. It fits.

It was a good recap of the obvious right up to this point:

The Department of Energy is approving exports terminals at a glacial pace and there is opposition from Congressional Democrats who still haven’t absorbed David Ricardo’s 1817 Principals of Political Economy and Taxation — not to mention environmentalists, who, with their usual upside-down logic, are arguing that the best way to counter Putin in Europe is to keep the gas to ourselves. And of course we haven’t built a new reactor from the ground up in 30 years.

Mr. Tucker apparently does not understand that it is the tax-exempt "charitable" foundations of major oil company stockholders that are funding the greens to keep prices high. They LOVE the idea of funding the Russians, just as they did the first time around. These are international socialists, seeking a global order that is one-stop-shopping for their corrupt influence buying. They hated Reagan for exactly that reason, as it has taken them twenty-five years to fully undo what the Gipper accomplished.

See tag line.

Bambi plays checkers. Putin plays 3-dimensional chess.
Putin makes fools of these clowns with ease. Well, we all know it isn’t all that hard anyway as they make total fools of themselves everyday as it is.

If Palin had been elected as VP we would have had ‘Drill baby Drill’ for the last six years.

This would have led to many more LNG export licenses and pipeline permits - and a massive increase in NG production from fracking.

Russia - like other extraction economies worldwide that all-too-easily become exporters of political or religious pathologies - would have faced US competition and would have had to confront its internal demons.

But elections have consequences. Specifically: the people who voted for Obama - or refused to vote for McCain - they did this. This is the world that they have made.
