The European Commission has ordered EU member states to stop holding bilaterals with Russia over the pork trade and has threatened to complain to the World Trade Organization, claiming that a Russian embargo on European pork is unwarranted. EurActiv France reports.
According to informed sources, France, Denmark and the Netherlands established bilateral contact with Russia in an attempt to end the embargo on European pork. Let em stew. Just don’t start with any BS that we have to share our bacon to be “equal” or to help out. The EU wanted to be a superpower...now is their chance.

Don’t ask for that to happen. Another autocratic superpower is just what the world doesn’t need right now.
Now here is something we can do for EU. We just had an article saying pork products are going to get expensive here. Supposedly, traders are concerned about a deadly virus in the U.S. hog population.
I am going to buy bacon tomorrow...$2.00 a pound. I like that price...gonna put some in my freezer...
