Hollywood is not afraid of God, Holly hates God. God does not approve of the way many in Hollywood (and the USA for that matter) are living.

We where warned about this two thousand years ago.
The World Hates the Disciples
18 If the world hates you, keep in mind that it hated me first. 19 If you belonged to the world, it would love you as its own. As it is, you do not belong to the world, but I have chosen you out of the world. That is why the world hates you. 20 Remember what I told you: A servant is not greater than his master.[a] If they persecuted me, they will persecute you also. If they obeyed my teaching, they will obey yours also. 21 They will treat you this way because of my name, for they do not know the one who sent me. 22 If I had not come and spoken to them, they would not be guilty of sin; but now they have no excuse for their sin. 23 Whoever hates me hates my Father as well. 24 If I had not done among them the works no one else did, they would not be guilty of sin. As it is, they have seen, and yet they have hated both me and my Father. 25 But this is to fulfill what is written in their Law: They hated me without reason.
John 15:18-25

Jesus did give us fair warning basically saying “look what they did to me the son of God so don’t expect them to treat you any better”.

They worship money and they see immorality as a money maker.

Excellent! I couldn’t have said it better myself.
What’s with the numbers?

I was never impressed with Kevin Sorbo, a “B” movie actor. He has now moved up to an “A” in my book.

Actually, No.
Hollywood would rather produce filth than turn a buck. They would rather churn out R rated movies than family friendly movies. Most Oscar winning movies are PG-13; most profitable movies are not rated R.
Yet year after year; Hollywood's agenda is to spew out filth and perversion that is anathema to what America wants to see.

If you've read Michael Medved's autobiography Right Turns, one thing you notice is the Hollywoood disdain for anything Christian. Medved described the much-hated movie King David (which had a view of King David from the Bible that was totally opposite of the Bible version), the highly-controversial The Last Temptation of Christ, and how they HATED The Passion of hte Christ (despite the movie making US$375 million in box office revenue!).

Why? Ask Satan.
Could be that to their rationality ignorance is bliss and God, for them and what they are about, means either repent and sin no more or suffer the eternal consequences.
Bummer, dude.
