SCOTT WAGNER BEATS THE GOP ESTABLISHMENT - CAP and a Pennsylvania write-in revolt.

First, it was a Florida congressional race. Now? A Pennsylvania special election for the state Senate. The Citizens Alliance of Pennsylvania scores a major win — and yes, the winner says he heard about Obamacare. Scott Wagner is a Pennsylvania state Senator this morning. It wasn’t supposed to happen.

In a stunning upset, the York County businessman, taking a stand against the state’s political establishment of both parties, made state history by winning a special election for the Pennsylvania state Senate — in a write-in landslide, defeating both the Republican and Democrat nominees.

Wagner captured 48 percent of the vote. His Republican opponent, a state representative with the backing of the local and state GOP, received 27 percent; the Democrat 26 percent.

The election was set in motion by the resignation of a sitting Republican senator. The GOP establishment, in this case both in York County (located in the heart of central Pennsylvania) and in Harrisburg, decided to back state Representative Ron Miller...

The CAP is pro free market economics with its executive director saying the idea is to nudge the eternally progressive Pennsylvania GOP in a more conservative direction.

Its not a formal “TEA PARTY” group but by its mission ends up helping real conservatives in GOP primaries.

Thanks, bama.

I had no idea what that page was for.

From time to time I would check things on that page, then, when I tried to post, the program would stop me because I did not fill out a “Required” box.

So, I just type “news” or “chat” in there and ignore the “Choose” option.

This victory probably means Debbie Wasserman Schultz will be all over the Sunday talk shows trumpeting the meaningless of this ‘’small, inconsequential election.’’

Thanks. Every FReeper should take their campaign courses. They have online training.

Homeschoolers should try to work these classes into their studies. We have to learn now to win elections, over and over and over again.

From the photo looks like Karl may want to spend a little more time at the gym and a little less at Hometown Buffet.

Great news! And the GOP was going to whip up TEA Party/TEA Party Express this year. Sounds like there is a revolt afoot.

Now if Louisiana can only dump that Dumb-Blonde US Senator Mary Landrieu...

great read. this is surely a template for conservative victory from the bottom up. it’s a model for everything that an independent conservative needs to do to win. this man and his group CAP (Citizen’s Alliance for Pensylvania) could catalyze a national conservative party. God’s speed to mr. wagner. CAP...even better than TEA.

If rinos continue to pull funding from conservatives, cheat, lie and steal in primaries and bad mouth us, here is the answer.

The dems are grasping at straws. Since they can't promo "the one" so much on social media, they're going back to bashing Michelle from Minnesota who is leaving after this term, is she not?

If the dems have to play the Michelle card, they got nothin'.

“This victory probably means Debbie Wasserman Schultz will be all over the Sunday talk shows trumpeting the meaningless of this ‘’small, inconsequential election.’’”

How does it work where some (i.e. the so called elites?) receive open access to preferential treatment by the USA media, just as do illegals, and pro multi-culturalists who screw most Americans?

While the Ivy League and universities like Harvard and their bigoted registrars get free reign and an inside tract and the right to promoting preferential treatment for some, while the Daughters of the American Revolution are excluded. Money buys exclusion and the right to be racist against the masses.

He called himself a “Bill Young conservative” and worked for the former congressman as an aide. Congressman Young was rightly described by the Washington Post as a “moderate” who brought tax dollars to the area (pork).

Jolly was also a lobbyist. Jolly defeated two primary opponents including a more conservative candidate supported by Colonel Allen.

Pat Caddell has described the Pinellas County political pattern, the home of the congressional district, as “moderate Republican”.
