Russia Suspended From G8, France Says (That will show em!)

The leaders of the Group of Eight have suspended Russia's participation in the body over Moscow's activities in Ukraine, the French foreign minister said Tuesday.

In an interview with Europe-1 radio, Foreign Minister Laurent Fabius said that "it is envisaged that all the other countries, the seven leading countries, will unite without Russia," The Associated Press reported.

The other seven members had already pulled out of preparations for a G8 summit set to be held in June in the Russian city of Sochi.

Fabius and French Defense Minister Jean-Yves Le Drian earlier postponed a trip to Moscow to meet with their Russian counterparts Sergei Lavrov and Sergei Shoigu.

The meeting was scheduled to take place on Tuesday and no new date for the meeting has been proposed.

Fabius said that visiting Moscow at this time would create "the impression that we support" Russian actions in Crimea, "and this is not so."

However, Fabius said that "we are continuing dialogue with the Russians, despite the fact that we do not agree with them," Interfax reported.

An unidentified Russian diplomat told Reuters on Monday about the postponement after President Vladimir Putin recognized Crimea as a sovereign state.

Fabius warned Russia that it is isolating itself and faces "economic catastrophe" if it does not stand down.

The U.S. and European Union on Monday imposed sanctions on more than a dozen Crimean and Russian officials involved in setting up Sunday's referendum in Crimea, in which the peninsula voted to become part of Russia.

Putin on Tuesday notified Russia's parliament about Crimea's annexation request.

You are just so full of anti-American propaganda working overtime to incite demoralization, despair, and divisiveness. You couldn’t be more consistent even if you were a card carrying member of the CPUSA (Communist Party USA) working overtime for the KGB-FSB. These U.S. companies are relocating some manufacturing back into the United States because it is profitable to do so.

“Foreign Minister Laurent Fabius”

That’s the guy responsible in the HIV contaminated blood scandal in France, which killed four thousands people in 1984 and 1985.

Why he is still in politics, and not in jail for multiple murder, is a French socialist mystery.

Socialists never go away.

You think Obama is done once he’s out of the White House? Far, far from it.

Thank you for your input. Now you can return to performing fellatio on Obama. That crap going on over there is a family fight and we have enough problems of our own to worry about.
