Reservists come under federal aegis. While National Guard men and women are funded by states.
So the phrase, “National Guard Reservist” is oxymoronic at best. And embarrassingly stupid for the supposed “journalist”.
Though, not surprising. “Journalists” revel in their deliberate and blissful ignorance of all things military!
Are you saying that the headline would have been more accurate if it had read “Muslim student plans terrorist bombing?” (Dog bites man)
