So it’s possible:
Blew open cockpit door.
Rushed in.
Took over plane.
Flew it into the Sea or landed it somewhere to do something FAR more sinister.
Maybe some passengers did their version of
LET’S ROLL..(is that still trademarked??)
and sent the plane into the ocean.
Doesn’t explain the shutdown of numerous communications systems. Some apparently involved finding a labeled and secret unlabeled circuit breaker under the flight deck.
I suspect it is at the bottom of the ocean
Let’s say, just for fun, that you have a small brick of HE just big enough to shred the latch on a cockpit door. And let’s say no one sees you light a fuze or that you have an electronic wireless detonator. How far can you get from that thing when it goes off to keep from knocking yourself silly? You’d be talking a grenade sized charge and the notion that you’re going to be in fighting condition after it goes off a few feet from you is nonsense-——throwing the BS flag on this proposition——tttthhhhheeeerrreee it gggoooeeeesss.
My theory is they ripped off the plane. The pilots are converts to the religion of peace, they went up to 45k shut off the O2 killing everybody, brought it down again and landed it - God knows where - and are planning to use it kamikaze style or God knows what. Bottom line: I highly doubt it was hijacked. The pilots were involved.
But why no communication with the ground? And is it possible to detonate a bomb inside a closed, pressurized space without causing major damage to the aircraft?
Our theory is the more sinister. Like repaint,AA, UA, SW, or someone able to come into US, fill er up with no good and fly her into, or blow her up over something, or somewhere.
